Even though Shiro's out of the E.R, Adam's voice haunts him like a demonic calling in a house. Shiro already has picked up Katie from daycare, surprisingly they were nice regardless of the name. Afterwards, Shiro had took the kids out for ice cream. Sadly, he couldn't take Adam because of the other doctors gave him work to do. Shiro thinks it was on purpose because how the doctors were acting when he had asked Adam to join. Now Shiro is driving back home, because it's kind of pointless to head back to school when the day is mostly over.

"So dad, everything is okay after the doctor checked you up right?" Keith asks. Shiro nods, "Yeah no problems I just got to quit smoking and change my diet." It's much more complicated than that, but again knowing the truth will hurt them badly than it hurts him already.

Driving home, Shiro makes the quick decision to ride right past the house and starts going on a path he hasn't gone on a long time. "Uhh where are we going?" Hunk asks. "Further out downtown" Shiro replies. Lance huffs, "Okay, but exactly where downtown?" Shiro keeps quiet for a long time before saying, "Just meeting up with someone I should've visited a long time ago." The kids, except for Matt who doesn't really care, looked at each other confused.

Shiro parks the car in a lot for an apartment building. "Okay, everyone get out and line up in front of the car." Every time Shiro does that, the kids know he's going to tell them something important. Everyone gets out the car and lines up in front of it. Shiro gets out and stand in front of them. "So...the person you guys are about to meet is my friend Allura." The kids, not including Katie, looked at each other in shock. Shiro noticed the kids looking a little frantic when he had finished his sentence. "I hope I didn't scare them...I'm never really open to my friends and relationships to them."

Keith clears his voice and forces a slight smile, "Well let's go meet her."

Now walking up the apartment stairs, Lance and Keith were moving a little slower than everyone else. "Well, how do you feel Keith?" Lance asks him. Keith takes a shaky breath and stops on the stairs. "I just...don't know about this." Keith starts off saying. Lance stops to turn around and listen to him. "I really feel like it's something bigger to this than just meeting Shiro's friend. He never tell us too much about his friends and now we're meeting one of them. It's so weird." Lance shrugs, "Well I don't know Keith, it was really strange that she was calling to look for you and now we're off to see her." Keith rubs his arm slowly, "What if she takes me away or something crazy like that?" "Why would she?! And besides if she tries to, she'll have to get through me first." Lance flexes his right arm, "You know, being a quarterback for the Garrison Tigers puts me to an advantage." Keith rolls his eyes and smirks, "You never grow up will you?" "Well, you call it being immature, but I call it living the best life I could."

"Hey you dickwards!" A familiar voice calls out. Keith and Lance look up to the fourth flight of stairs and sees Matt rushing back down. "What the fuck are you doing here still?! That old man thought we lost you guys." Matt complained, "And if you guys are gone I'll be the one forced to find you and next time I won't because I really don't give a single fuck about you two." Keith gets into Matt's face and pushes him against the railing towards the wall, "I guess you wouldn't care if I push you down the fucking stairs then." Keith fumed. "You guys stop.." Lance tells them but nobody listens. "You threatening me you little squirt? Well, two can play at that game." Matt pushes Keith off to the other side of the railing where the other flight of stairs were right below. Keith nearly flew off of it but Lance quickly grabs his hand to pull him back. Matt blandly stares as if he had no remorse of his actions. "Well, meet the rest of us in apartment 3A, at the top of the stairs. I think I'm done here." Matt goes up the stairs as Lance holds Keith.

He was shivering in fear right in Lance's arms. That only made Lance to hold onto Keith tighter. "He...was going to kill me..." Keith mutters. "I know...I'm sorry Keith." Lance tells him. Keith escapes Lances hold and brushes it off. "Well umm, let's get to the apartment." Keith tells him and continues walking up the stairs like nothing happened. "How often do Keith does that...?"
