The reason why happiness never last forever

because there's always long forever rain

that's why the universe never last forever

because the black hole ends everything

The previous night...

I got woke up and I saw bright stars lingering above a moving dark sky. The sound of water crashing against each other and flowing down into a river and then disappear.

Oh, I'm in under the waterfall

It's midnight.

Should I stay or should I go home? I wonder to myself as I start walking down into the underground tunnel. I'm going home anyway because that's what my legs said. It was dark and there's no light but I don't care. It's basically nighttime, what do you expect? Candles and torches in an abandoned temple? The quiet surrounding broke when I kicked into some glass bottles and cans. Annoying.

I got out after walking back up from the long stairway that wants to make me puke the shit out of me. Everywhere is darkness or just some the bright shades from the moonlight on the pine leaves or smooth rocks. I heard faint steps and howling far away, but I'm not afraid. Because I wish to see death every day. I just started walking, stepping on the branches and dry leaves while kicking the small pebbles away from my path. I'm tired, and I want to sleep and die here, but the sad memory lingered in every corner of the forest. I don't want to die where Seulgi had left me. After half an hour, I got out of the forest to see all the stores and shops lights are off, only some streets light remain. The streets are empty, I can freely walk and roam around. I might look like a drunk ass lost his way home or a weird teenager escaping from his bedroom window. But I don't care. It's always been my dream to be alone in an empty night. It's peaceful and if I die, no one will know when, where or why.

Just like what I've planed.

I was walking when a police car pulled up next to me. "Hey kid, you lost?" "Yeah." I shortly replied because I started to get tired from the quietness. He opened the front seat. "Get in, where do you live?" he asked. "In the neighborhood of Hangseon road, house 74." The police looked quite surprised. "No one bought that house at all, do you not have a family?" "No, my friend said to pick me up over there, then they will drive me home." "Are you sur-" "Yes Sir, but thank you for the ride." There's just silence left in the trip, no one asked or complained. He dropped me off at the front of the building. "You're friends are not here..." "They said to come 5 minutes later. You don't need to worry sir, but thank you." I  quickly replied before changing my gaze, pretending to look to the far distance of an empty road, waiting for someone to pick me up. The man just sighed and take off on his way.

After he left, I just sighed in relief and entered the house. It doesn't look haunting nor mysteries, but actually quite peaceful and calm. I went upstairs and into her bedroom, where everything was still kept in place. I sat down on her bed and looked over the plant pot. Her plants had died but wild daisy has grown on it. I looked at my phone and saw 47 missed calls. If I call them, they won't pick up because it's 1'o clock already, so I decided to spend the night here. I'm already very exhausting as I fell asleep immediately, not sure that a 6 hours sleep will help me.
