Ever After High Myra's Tale *Book 1* (On Hold)

I walked into my first class, Beast Training and Care. I sit in the second row to the back reading a book. I got it from the Lifairy last week and I have been enjoying it so far. Blondie Lockes was sitting in the seat next to me paying me not mind, as usual. She talks to Holly O'Hair who sits in the seat in front of her. Derek Knight (son of the dark knight) sits on the other side of me, but he has been late a lot.

Soon enough the bell rings and everyone settles down. I put my book into my backpack. Professor Papa Bear comes in sipping a mug of coffee. He takes out the roll to see if everyone is here. His voice sounded strong but old sounding. " Hello class " He begins to read of our names like he has all last week.

" Let's see, Ansi Heels? "

" Here. " Ansi replies. From what I remember I think she is the daughter of the shoemaker.

"Okay, Blondie? Blondie Lockes?"

" I am here. " Blondie says with a smile.

" Good. Good. Katelyn Cracker-nuts?"

" Here Professor. " Katelyn answers. Of course I could tell she is the daughter of Kate CrackerNuts. She loves to dance.

" Alright, now Ginger Witch? "

" Here "

" Fine, Myra Dustily? "

" Here " I croak.

" Um, Derek Knight? "

I look at the seat next to me. It was empty. For the 3rd day in a row, he was late. We all stay silent.

" Derek? He can't be late again. " Professor says picking up the pen to mark his name down.

All of a sudden Derek breaks into the room panting like crazy.

" Sorry *pant* I was *pant* late. " Derek says taking his seat.

" Hmm. Ok then...Hunter Huntsman? "

Professor Papa Bear continues.

Soon enough we get finished with roll.

" Class. Today we will be starting on our project that is due in two weeks. Since last week was orientation week and yesterday we had a sub, we are starting today. " The Professor points out. " Right now I am going to set you with your partner that you will have for the rest of the year. "

" We have already gotten our textbooks so take them out and go to page 12A. It is the keystone species project. It's says what you have to do in there. Get with your partners and work! "

Vanessa usually sat in the front so I went up to her desk and moved another one beside her. She didn't seem fairy happy but I needed to pay attention to the project. She was holding her magical doll that she kept all times. I think it is a part of her story.

" Hello Vanessa. " I say when I get out my textbook and so does she.

" Oh. Hi. " Vanessa responds not making eye contact with me. By this time everyone was already chatting and beginning to read their project.
