The start

Sapphire's POV

I was sitting in my secret base with Ruby when someone knocked on the door. Ruby got up to open it, and he let out a gasp. I hopped to the entrance to see what surprised him, and it was our seniors. My jaw dropped in shock, and Gold smirked. I could read Ruby's thoughts when i saw his facial expression when he made eye contact with the gold-eyed boy. Pervert.

  Well, i thought. Why do they look so excited? I asked myself. I tipped my head to one side and asked, "Well? It's a long way from the other regions. Why are ya here? Is there some important news or somethin'?"

 Yellow giggled before Crystal answered excitedly, "Us pokedex holders are going on a vacation, and you're coming too!" Ruby stared at them for a moment, before he started jumping up and down, too. "I gotta pack!" He shrieked with happiness before tugging on my sleeve and literally dragging me out of our secret base and running to our homes, laughing.

By the time we were done packing, (Ruby took forever with his fashion thingie-ma-jiggies) they already got Emerald and were ready to go to the airport. Airports, huh. I thought. I've never been to one before. Normally, i just follow Ruby on Troppy whenever he goes to participate in contests. I look around.

 It's much fancier than i thought. Restaurants and gift shops lined every corner of the white walls. In a few sections, there were huge rows of chairs, but Crystal dragged me to the checkout desk in which we got our tickets before we sat in one of those huge rows of chairs titled D2. As i sat down, i turned my head and observed the whole place i could by far see. There were TVs with flight times and locations on them, and there was a door behind a desk. Where we go to board the plane? I wondered. Just then, Ruby nudged me up and we dragged our suitcases to the front desk in which we gave some strange lady our tickets before walking through that strange door and boarding the plane.

 It felt strange. The air felt too dry and even after we settled into our seats, i shuffled around uncomfortably at the thought of being trapped in one seat for several hours. I noticed people whispering around us and pointing to the line of pokedex holders on the plane and taking several photos. Please let this end soon, I prayed.  

Lol this chapter was so short. However, it was nice, right? It's the introduction to my new story. haha~ also, im gonna draw a cov
