Sapphire's POV
"Welp. We're here. Six flags." Crystal announced as everybody looked up at the tangle of roller coasters.
"I DONT WANNA GOoooooo" Ruby hollered like a baby with his arms wrapped around a pole, half screaming, half crying. Rolling my eyes, I walked over to him and pried his fingers off the pole and dragged him back to the group. "Shut up, prissy." I grumbled at him. With a sigh, Silver muttered, "Let's.... just get out of here before people realize who we are." "We're already here though!" Pearl complained. "Let's just go in."
"NOOOOOooooooooo"
"For Arceu's sake, shut yer mouth!"
"Noooooooooooo"
"Prissy."
"Barbarian."
"I AM NOT GOING TO LET THIS ARGUMENT START."
As Emerald screamed at Ruby and I, we approached this huge roller coaster called Kingda Ka. (It's a real place in the real world) Ruby seemed to realize this a little too late, because we were halfway through the line when he finally looked up.
"NOOOOOOOOO!!!" He shrieked, catching the attention of a lot of people, and they all stared at us like we were crazy. "Rubyyyy, the lines moving.." I yelled at him, silently begging him to act like a normal person for once.
At the front of the line, Ruby asked me, "Hey... can I sit next to you again?" Staring at him with a few fake laughs, I replied, "Uh, for you to rip my hand out again? Nah." Flinching, he responded with, "Hey, I didn't rip out your hand, I scratched it. Plus, it was an accident. Your presence calms me down. Please?" Looking at him again, feeling the heat rise to my cheeks, I muttered under my breath, trying to hide my blush, "F-fine."
Sitting in the car, I was quite confused. There were no roller coaster cars in front of us, so why aren't we moving? I asked Red behind us, but he just responded with a really dense answer. "Hey Sapphire? I think the roller coaster's broken-" all of a sudden, the car zoomed forward at alarming speeds. Plus, it was so sudden... I'm worried for Ruby. The car zoomed up this 10-story tall track and plunged down at an even faster rate, and at this point Ruby's hand was no longer gripping mine, and I could tell from his face that he passed out.
"I-I'm alive,.." Ruby whispered as he staggered out of the roller coaster with the rest of us. Suddenly, fangirls popped out of nowhere and started to scream.
