Ruby's POV
As i watched Gold drag a dazed Sapphire to the middle of Red and Yellow's room, i tried to suppress my giggles. "Wha- what are ya doin'?" She squeaked, still clutching a mug of hot chocolate. "We're playing here!" The playboy responded with a grin before pushing her to the space next to me and taking his own seat and announcing, "We are playing it a little bit different! The winner can give one person a dare!" At that moment, I could sense this day was going to be ruined for one person, if the winner was lewd.
"Everyone has seven cards?"
"No! I have 14!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes!"
"You have seven..."
"Oh..."
Of course it was Red who miscounted his cards by SEVEN. He's so dense...
I looked at my cards. Blue 3, Green Reverse, Yellow 8, Yellow 12, Red Skip, Wild Card (Yay), and a Red 10. Okay. A pretty good cardset.
First play. Gold played a Blue 7. Next, Green put a Blue 2. Then, Red put a Green 3.
"No! That's not how you play!"
"Huh? Then how do you play this game? Aren't you just playing random cards?"
"Oh. My. GOD!!! YOU'RE SO DENSE! YOU CAN ONLY PLAY CARDS OF THE SAME COLOR OR NUMBER!"
"I... don't get it..."
"I. GIVE. UP."
With that, Blue stormed out of the room, and everyone else just sighed really loudly. Why can't we ever just play a game without anyone quitting from being too dense or densed out?
