Ruby's POV

As we walked back to our cars, I noticed that pretty much everyone else was giggling on how Gold was still crying. It was rude, but the golden eyes boy deserved it. He was constantly telling other people our secrets, and that's how a lot of my fans learned of the scar on my head. As Sapphire snorted from something Green said to her, Gold yelled at the laughing pokedex holders to shut up, his face red. I smirked at him, wanting payback for the rumors he spread about me. After a lot of laughing and screaming, we went our separate ways to our cars.

As Sapphire took her seat next to me, i gently put my hand under her's, forgetting momentarily about the scratch, but i was reminded when i saw her bite back a whimper. "I'm sorry." i whispered to her as another wave of guilt crashed into me. She turned her head away from me to hide her blush, refusing to look weak. "I'm fine." She muttered, still keeping her eyes on the window.

I reached forward and stroked her hair, which caused her blush to be unmistakable. "You're blushing, you know." I teased her gently, and she turned her head back, still blushing darker than Red's cap. "Aw man. I failed at covering it, didn't i?" She sighed. I nodded, smiling.

After a long time of sitting there in silence, Sapphire asked, "You remember, don't you?" I stiffened at that subject. "Remember what?" i asked, trying my best to fake it. "My confession. At Mirage Island." She growled, clearly not believing me. I gulped then cursed in my head, hoping she didn't see my expression when she finished her sentence. But of course, she did. "Ya remember, don't cha?" she pressed, narrowing her eyes. Knowing there's no point to lie to her at this stage, I nodded in defeat. "Yes. Yes i do."

Sapphire looked away, definitely hurt. "I knew it!" She shouted. "I knew you did! And you kept on lying and lying! Have you even got a thought on how I  felt about that? I hate you! You're selfish, even if it doesn't show sometimes!"

As soon as the car stopped in front of the hotel, she flew open the door and pelted through the hotel doors full speed, not even bothering to look back at my reaction. Broken inside, i stepped out of the car and walked slowly to the door.

In there, the rest of the pokedex holders had just finished checking in and were walking to the elevator. I ran to them, not wanting to be late for the elevator ride and a chance to talk to Sapphire. However, she was standing on the opposite side of the elevator, her back turned to me, and i felt another stab at my heart.

Why did i never think of the consequences of lying to her?

Why did it never occur to me that i was going to regret it one day?

As soon as the elevator door opened, she ran to our room and entered. All the other girls looked at each other, confused at Sapphire's weird behavior.

I walked to the door she just closed and opened it again and entered. In there, I saw Sapphire sitting on her bed, facing away from me. "Sapphire-" I started, but i was cut off by her. "Enough of yer yappin!" She hissed. With a sigh, i went through one of the doors to pretend to visit my seniors, but i caught a glimpse of her face, wet with tears.

Just as i walked through the door, Gold snatched my sleeve and dragged me to a circle where the boys were sitting, muttering to one another. "Let's play truth or dare!" Gold announced. "We got Fancy Boy!" I gulped.

Gold spinned the bottle and it landed on Diamond. "Aww..." Dia said. "Okay, Dia. Truth or dare?" Gold asked. "Dare, i guess." Diamond responded. "Okay!" Gold said gleefully. "I dare you so that you cannot eat any snacks until you wake up tomorrow morning!" A "WHATTTT" escaped Diamond's mouth, and Gold put his hand over Dia's mouth. "Remember, if you want to skip this dare, You'll get something worse!" Diamond dropped his head sadly and nodded. "Well, spin the bottle!" Gold commanded with a smirk. Diamond spinned it, and it landed on me. Oh crap.

"Ruby, truth or dare?" Gold asked. I opened my mouth to say dare, but he butted in. "I think truth would be interesting. Ruby, why is Sapphire acting weird?" I glared at Gold before answering slowly. "because she found out i was lying to her about forgetting..." He stared at me for a moment before laughing his head off. "Well, that was a bonus, since we all wanted to know! Now, truth or dare?" He smirked. I glared at him even harder before hissing, "Dare." "Well, just to annoy you and Sapphire, i dare you to kiss Wild Girl in her sleep!! How will she react to that?" Gold laughed evilly. I stared at him for a moment, before yelling,

"PERVERT!!!!!!"

After we were done with the game, i dragged myself to my room to see Sapphire with her face in her pillow, crying. Crystal and Yellow were trying to comfort her, but it definitely wasn't working. As i passed by, Crys shot me a disappointed look as she whispered things in Sapphire's ear. I looked back at her, also upset.

Sapphire's sobbing was piercing my heart as i took a bath and dressed in my PJs again. When i opened the door and walked out, Sapphire walked into the bathroom with her face turned away from me. Sadness clung to me as i sat onto my bed and did nothing but sitting there, having no tears, yet no smile.

CLIFFHANGER!!!!!! >:D

Just saying, i had a field trip yesterday, so i'm updating late, i guess. Poor Sapphire. >.<
