Junhui pecked me on the lips, just in time when Minghao saw it.
"Let's go." He pulled me away.
Since then, I never heard anything from Minghao. Junhui and I stayed together for almost 4 years already.
"Jun, our 4th anniversary is 5 months away. I can't wait, I wish we can go to that place I always wanted to go."
"Babe, we will be there soon. Give me a kiss first, then I'll allow you to go. You know that I love you."
Those years consisted of us dating, hanging out and enjoying each other's presence. We were just like a perfect couple; however, it didn't last long.
"I'll come back soon, wait for me." He said, before he left to Korea.
This felt so familiar. It felt like when I left Minghao to go to Korea. This time, Junhui's the one leaving me.
I promised that I won't replace him, like what Minghao did to me before.
Despite my worries, I was willing to wait. He told me that he will treat me better and I believed him. I couldn't go with Junhui because it was work related and he wanted me to stay. So, I waited and waited.

I didn't stop waiting for him, even if he stopped calling and texting me.
I thought about asking how he was doing there, so I went to his parents' house. Junhui's mother greeted me and I greeted back with a smile.
"How's my boyfriend, Mrs. Wen?" I asked his mother.
She seemed shocked, "Boyfriend? I thought you two broke up few months ago. He said that he has a new girlfriend in Korea."
At that moment, I felt betrayed; but I didn't want to show my anger to his mother and I didn't want to feel selfish, so I just went with the flow.
"Oh, you're right. I forgot, we broke up before. I'm sorry to ask, Mrs. Wen. I'll just leave now."
I left without even getting any clear answer from her. I never came back to that house and I never came back to his life again.
What happened to "I'll treat you better"? It wasn't true at all, because he replaced me like Minghao did.
I waited for a year, just like what you said. Wen Junhui, how can you do this to me? You promised me, you liar. I don't care if I missed the chance of going to that place I wanted to go, but you missed our 4th anniversary.
I couldn't stop my tears because I was in pain. I thought that he was the one for me, but I thought wrong.
It started raining. Great. I ran to the nearest building and shivered to the coldness. It just made me cry harder.
"y/n, come with me." Someone held my wrist.
When I saw him, I became angrier.
"M-minghao, let me go."
"No, I know you're broken. I won't ever let you go, not again."
I gave in, so brought me to his house. He gave me extra clothes, served me a hot drink and wrapped me in a blanket. He made me feel warm.
"Minghao, why are you being kind to me? I thought you hated me after I left with Jun before. It has been 5 years, so I thought you forgot all about me already."
He smiled, hugging me in the process.
"I was really sad when he became your boyfriend, but I never hated you. I stayed behind and waited. Yes, I waited 5 years for you and I don't regret it. I knew about Jun's new girlfriend, so I went to look for you and here you are."
I sobbed, "You waited that long? You still love me? I don't think I deserve this. I left you before and I left you once again."
He pecked my forehead, "It doesn't matter how long I waited, I never stopped loving you. I waited for you just like how I did when you left to Korea. I know that you'll always come back to me, my love. I'll always wait for you."
