The secret protecters

"I know of her....What do you wish of her?!" I yell as I conceal my wings inside the fold of skin on my back underneath my fur, because I know that is my signature.

"We have some secret information for Shadow but we don't know what she/he looks like or where they live...please take us to Shadow, its argent!!!" said the 1st wolf. Now things were starting to get interesting. I ran around the water hole cautiously over to them.

"I'll take you to her meeting place were she goes to when animals of the forest beg her for help...maybe you'll get lucky and she'll come....this way!" I said as they followed me. I had a home above the trees and a cave I had where injured or very sick animals came to beg for me to save them with my powers. I could hear all that cry in the cave because I put a spell in the cave so I could help those in need. I lead them into the cave but stayed outside.

"Thank you....we are most greatful, I hope we see more of you, please what do they call you?" asked the 1st wolf.

"I am called Sapphire....and I have a feeling you will see more of me, soon..." I said lying about my name, telling them my middle name. They all bowed and went inside the cave.

"I'll introduce myself properly the next time we meet again...good afternoon Sapphire..." said the 1st wolf. As he and his pack went into the cave. I smiled and flew off in a tall dense tree...listening to there voices.

"Misty how does this work again?" asked one of the wolves a female. "yeah, yeah big bro how does it work, how does it work??!!!" said a second young male voice. "We should be able to just speak to Shadow and they should just answer us...." said the 1st wolf, recognizing his deep voice. 

"Oh Shadow Lotus, great fox of this forest hear us....we are the protectors!!! We come from a far off land passed the land of darkness where no one returns....there are dark creatures within that forest, a pack called the sole snatcher have been sent by an evil to hunt down those who are pure and kind for there powers and abilities....we have formed this pack to protect those who can't protect themselves....we ask you if you would join our pack so that we may protect you. You are the most powerful being ever known and are in danger do to being so close to the dark forest...please hear us!!! " said the 1st wolf. 

I wasn't sure what to say this was all so sudden and I didn't want to leave my home or any of the animals I cared for over the many years. I used my powers and spoke in a voice that they won't recognize since they had already met me.

"I hear you, I see feel you, and I am confused....I have lived here a many years and have seen the dark forest but never any dark creatures hunting for me or in my beloved forest home...." I said.

"They hide in darkness and feed on the dead, you must have sensed something...a health animal die for no reason something anything!" said a another female voice. "Match calm yourself!" said the 1st wolf. "Yes, Misty..." she replied. "I believe you...I have felt a shift and have found many of the animals in the forest dead....and others covered in blood. If I were to join your pack, would have to leave the forest?" I asked. There was a long silence....
