"Yes, you would have to leave the forest....but your not alone there are others like you where we're going...." said Misty. I gulped, but knew that I would still be able to heal the animal with my cave from anywhere I was....I sighed.
"I accept, I will join your pack and allow your protection....I will met you in the center of the forest north from here, don't be late... " I told them. "I am honored....Shadow Lotus." he said formally. I rolled my eyes and flew away in the direction of my tree home. I went inside my home and hid my wings inside my back. I look in the refection of the water I have to look at myself. I change into my human form...my hair is long and white like my fur in my fox form, I still have my tail, and ears. My eyes are blue and I have slightly pale skin that in still laced with blue markings. I sigh and run my fingers through my long silky hair. I then fell the presents of some one below my tree and peek my head out just enough to see, but not be seen. I hear a howling and realize it is the wolf pack. I change back into my fox form and keep my wings tucked away. I drop down the door I used when I didn't know how to fly and let them in. I move stuff around and tuck things away before they walk in the room I am in.
"Sapphire? What are you doing her, do you live with Shadow Lotus?!" asked Misty. I stare at him and sit down offering food to the rest of his pack. "Are you related to Shadow Lotus?" he asked.
"I guess you could say that....but then again I am curious to see what is outside of the forest, since I agreed to join your pack..." I said winking as him. His jaw falls to the ground in shock. "HAHAHAHAHA, she played you for a fool, Bro! And you said nobody fools you!!!!" laughed the smallest wolf in his pack.
"Well I did say the next time we meet I would introduce you properly, so welcome to the pack Shadow....or do you prefer to be called Sapphire?" said Misty. "Shadow is fine..." I tell him. He bows his head,
"I am called Misty and am the leader of The Protectors, these two are Mitch and Match, twin sisters and complete opposites and my second and third in arms, and this is Golden-spear and finally my little brother, Branch...who recently joined our pack...." said Misty. I bowed my head in respect, "Hello, pleased to meet all of you officially..." I said with a smile. Branch walked up to my holding my paw, "The pleasure is all mine, Shadow...." said Branch licking my paw.
Misty whopped Branch, "Hey what was that for?!" said Branch. "She isn't your mate so lay off her...its not polite!" growled Misty. I smiled and walked over to Misty. "So then this is what a pack is like? Lead the way Misty....I am ready when you are!" I said excited for the adventure at hand.
