Unimaginable

I walked in the dark feeling the warmth of Misty as we continued on....up ahead was a light. As we walked on it got bigger and bigger...a way out! my eyes adjusted to the bright light of the exit and I couldn't believe what I saw. Crystal formations everywhere you looked in every color imaginable...lighting the way. The rest of Misty's pack was just ahead of us, waiting. Misty leads as we continue on. 

"This place is so beautiful!!!" I say as I look in every direction. 

"Welcome to our home Shadow...." said Misty. We then entered a much bigger area of the crystal covered cave and it was filled with wolves! My jaw drops and Misty steps to the ledge where every wolf can see him. 

"BROTHERS, SISTERS!! I HAVE RETURNED SUCCESSFULLY WITH ANOTHER MEMBER TO OUR PACK!!!!" shouts Misty standing on his hind legs.

All of the wolves below us cheer with great happiness. 

"Now I know some of you have heard the rumors of Shadow Lotus and asked if they were a legend or real....I have come with great news that she is real!!!!" says Misty. I feel confused. 

"Oh yeah, where's your proof?!!" yells/laughs a wolf from the crowd. 

"YOU WANT PROOF YOU SAY?!" asked Misty. He then turns to me. 

"Huh? What do you want me to do?!" I ask.

"Just walk out in front of them...as I did and then open your wings as wide as you can for them to see..." he said. 

I nodded and walked to the ledge for everyone to see me. There was silence. 

"That does look at all like they said in legend, how do we know your telling the truth, she doesn't even have wings!!!" yells a wolf. 

I had forgotten that I had tucked my wings away while I was waiting for the pack. I rolled my eyes and revealed my wings, spreading them out as far as they would. Every wolf gasped and stared at me...as I flapped them. I glanced at Misty who gestured for me to fly around the room. I looked down over the ledge and throw myself off of it dramatically, spiraling downwards and then opened my wings at the last second which shot me back up above the big group of wolves. I then flew back to the ledge and bowed to them all, and then let Misty take over again.  

"Everyone give a warm welcome for Shadow Lotus!!!" said Misty. Everyone cheered. I blushed, I wasn't used to this sort of attention....Afterwards I am lead into the crowd of wolves below, everyone stares and whispers and waves at me. I am lead to the end of the room and seem to be headed some where. "Misty?" I say. He glances at me, "Yeah?"

"Are you taking me somewhere?" I ask. He nods. "Where?" I ask curiously. "We have a higher leader, we call him the elder....and we bring him ever new pack member  we find..." he says. I am quiet as we approach a new white lite cave.
