The Sorting and Professor Snape

   So we finally made it across the lake and got out of the boats. I mean it took forever. Oh did I mention how I almost fell out of the boat? No? Well then I'll just have to tell you.

   Okay so I was kind of gawking at the sight of Hogwarts. Kinda. Only a little. Okay fine I was full on gawking. Happy? You should be.

   Anyway a wave was caused by the giant squid and it hit my boat causing it to fly into the air and almost flip over. Ya its real safe to have a gaint squid people. Not. I mean what were they thinking? Hey lets get a squid and see how many kids it can strangle at a time. Hmm well I don't know. How about eight. Idiots.

   So back to the fun at hand. Oh wait? No fun? Gasp!!!  Shocker. Oh Merlin. I think I might be bipolar. Oh well.

   Soooo. Right now were going up a hill. At least it's not slippery. Wait... Spoke to soon. I just tripped on a rock. Wait... Does that count?

   Grrrr. I need stop getting sidetracked. Okay. Okay. Soooo. We reached the top of the hill and guess what was waiting for us? Stairs. Oh Merlin I'm gonna die. Plz someone kill me now. Sigh.

           *20 minutes later*

                  *Okay 10*

                       *5*

                       *2*

     *Oh you get what I mean*

   When we FINALLY reached the top I almost collapsed but somehow managed not to. Its a miracle!!! Praise the Lord!!! No not Voldie Dork! Hehe. I'm bad. Real bad.

   Okay so Hagrid knocked on the huge door and McGonagal opened it within seconds. Wow she's quick.

   Okay I know its sounds bad but I didn't even bother listening. Hey Harry told me all this stuff already. Although I did make sure that I wasn't someone she looked at when she suggested to basically fix are selves to look more proper. I was wearing everything perfectly and was very clean. Surprising considering I live in a cupboard.

   Well then all the ghost came out. Ooooo. Scary. Not. There harmless. I think. Oh well. So McGonagal FINALLY came and led us into the hall where lined up and the hat sang.

   Eh I've seen weirder things. Although the ceiling is cool I didn't pay much attention to it. I knew all about it. Though a book can't begin to describe the beauty of it all.

   So several people got called up and sorted but I didn't watch them cause I noticed a guy at the staff table staring at me.

   He had long black hair and a hooked nose. Ah its Professor Snape. Hmm he looks surprised to see me. Probably because I look almost exactly like my mum. Hmm from the way he is looking at me now I would say he loved my mum. Aww how cute. I think. I mean Harry really doesn't like the guy. Well if how he spoke about him was anything to go by at least.

   I started paying attention again after a girl named Luna Lovegood was called and then sorted into Ravenclaw. Cool girl. Anyway after two or three more students were called and sorted the moment I had been waiting for came.

   "Potter, Maryona" was called by McGonagal.

   Everything fell silent before suddenly being broken by lots of whispering.

   "Another Potter?"

        "A girl?"

   "I never knew you had a sister mate."

   Ya that last one caught my attention. Harry's closest friends who knew everything about him and his life didn't know about me? One glance confirmed it as I was walking to the stool with the sorting hat on it.

   I thought I meant enough to him for him to at least tell his friends about me. Oh well.

   I sat down and McGonagal put the hat on my head.

   "Ah the other Potter twin. What a wonderful mind you have." said the hat in my head. Cool.

   "At least you know about me and thanks I quite like my mind" I thought back to the hat.

    "More people know about you then you think child."

   "How do you know?" I know. I know. I sound rude but think about it. How would you act if your brother didn't tell anyone about you?

   "I can read minds."

   "Noo. Really? I thought you sorted people by the sound of their names." I thought sarcastically.

   Then the hat chuckled. Seriously. I am not crazy. Well maybe a little but thats not the point.

   "Hmm your brave." said the hat.

   "Uhh" I know not the best thought but I didn't know how to respond to that.

   "Your cunning to. Hmm and very loyal."

   "Cool beans." What I'm hungry and I had to say something.

   "No. No. No. Your way to smart and wouldn't fit into any of those houses."

   "What? You wanna put me in Ravenclaw don't you?"

   "See you pick up on things fast. Or would would you rather be a Gryffindor and be in your brothers shadow?"

   "Noooooo!!!!! Not in the shadow!! The shadows evil!!!!" I screamed in my head.

   "Okay. Okay." said the hat trying to calm me down. Hehe.

   "Better be......... RAVENCLAW!"

   "Way to be dramatic" I thought.

   "Thanks. I try." replied the chuckling sorting hat. Seriously. Again with the chuckling?

   I quickly pull the hat off of my head and give him to McGonagal before making my over to the clapping Ravenclaw table. They all look very proper. Yay!!! No more pigs like Dudley.

   I took a seat next to a blonde haired blue eyed girl. What was her name? Luna. Luna Lovegood. What a pretty name.

Luna turned to me with a dreamy look on her face. She stuck her hand out before she began speaking in a dream like tone. Wow She was so dreamy. Wait... I didn't mean it like that!!!

   "Hello I'm Luna." said well Luna.

   "Hi I'm Maryona but everyone calls me Lilac."

   "Its nice to meet you Lilac. Not many people can keep nargles away but it looks like you can."

   "Uh. I guess I'm lucky." I said wondering what in the world a nargle was.
