Teddy cracked an eyelid open to find himself staring at the furry form of Moony, who was plastered to the side of his face, snore-purring away. He lifted his head up off the pillow and out of her fur, looking at her in groggy confusion. She was laying on her back, legs sprawled in all directions, a peanut butter cookie poked from the top edge of her pouch. Teddy furrowed his brow, trying to understand what she was doing in his bed instead of her own, and where in the world she got a cookie from this early in the morning.

"She was there when I got up. Didn't figure it was worth disturbing her." Teddy jumped at the sound of Matt's voice coming in the door of their room, hair still wet from the shower he was coming from. He had on a pair of loose black sweatpants and a new yellow jumper, which he had his hands stuffed into the pocket of. Teddy smirked over at him.

"Slumming it today, Matt?" Matt glanced down at his clothes and shrugged his shoulders.

"Figured we would have to change later anyway, and I don't have any plans for today. Just going to read in the loft. So, I thought I'd just be comfortable." Matt padded across the room in his black slippers and picked up a pair of books off his bed and tucked them under his arm. He grabbed his wand from the shelf by his bed and turned to head for the door. Teddy squinted at the books he had tucked under his arm.

"Reading my dad's journals?" Matt stopped mid-step on his way across the room. He swung around to face Teddy, slightly ruffled.

"I am." His eyes darted to the side, towards Zach's still snoring form, "But not really to read about your father. I'm more interested in...something else." Teddy raised an eyebrow as Matt turned back towards the door.

"Which one are you starting with?" Matt's shoulders tensed then slumped a bit, but he didn't turn around as he answered.

"I started from the beginning." He held up the two journals from under his arm. "These are his fourth and fifth years." Teddy thought for a minute what was significant about fifth year for his dad.

"Fifth year was a big one for him, I just can't remember why. It's been too long since I've read them." Teddy watched as Matt tensed up again, then nodded his head slowly. "Matt?"

"Yea, Ted?" he still didn't turn around.

"If you need to talk, you know I'm here, yea?" Matt slowly nodded his head again as he reached for the doorknob.

"I know, Teddy. Thanks." He disappeared out the door, Teddy still watching after him. He furrowed his brow again, trying to remember what it was that was so important to his dad about fifth year. He was a bit embarrassed that it had been so long since he'd read the journals, and when he had read them it was when he was 7 or 8, so he wasn't able to always follow what he was reading.

He flipped his legs over the side of the bed and jumped up, careful to make sure Moony didn't roll off the bed. Tyson had just finished reading his dad's journals, so he could pick his brain to see what it was that was so special that year. He tiptoed from the room, closing the door carefully behind him to keep from waking up Zach, whom he did not feel like dealing with this early. He made his way down the steps to Tyson's door and knocked quietly. He heard movement from inside, then Tyson's opened the door, a towel around his shoulders, drying his hair with his free hand. He stopped the motion when he saw Teddy.

"Bloody hell, is the whole lot of you up already then?" Teddy shook his head.

"Just Matt and I. Matt was up first, and you clearly saw him in the showers since that's where it looked like he came from when he stopped by the room." Tyson slowly nodded his head.
