Irwin side ~ 'the one who sets the agreement'

"Hey Ashton! Guess what? I have a boyfriend! My first boyfriend!" Amanda crashed into my room like a little girl and jumped on my bed to wake me up on a hot summer day. "His name is Luke, and he's soo cute!"

"I don't care." I mumbled, half awake thanks to her. "Get out of here."

"It's six in the afternoon, anyway. You're not supposed to be asleep!" She shook me enough times to make me fall to the ground with my blankets still wrapped around me. "Get up! He's outside and I want you to meet him!"

I didn't wanted to go, I remember asking her if we could postpone this for another day, or century, but she begged and begged until I stood up. "Fine...But if I don't like this guy, you better break up with him."

"Oh, come on! You'll like him, he's so cool." She insisted on that while I changed and lazily followed her outside to our parking lot.

Our mother was already there, she looked overjoyed as she shook hands with this 'Luke' guy. I swore I heard about him before but I was too tired to overthink about it. "...Hi."

"Hey, I'm Luke. It's nice to meet you, Ashton." He shook my hand as well, and I raised my eyebrows in surprise. He wasn't bad looking, like how I imagined Amanda's first boyfriend to be. Not that I ever spent my free time thinking about my twin sister's love life. "I heard a lot about you from your sister. I hope we get to be friends soon."

Okay, he wasn't bad at all. I felt quite angry that my little sister had to date someone that wasn't Calum, since that would of been easier for me to handle than a complete stranger. But Luke didn't seem like an asshole, so he was alright with me. "Yeah..Nice to meet you, man. If you hurt my sister, I will kill you."

"Haha. I'd never do that." He smiled back to me, his blue eyes glittering when he chuckled. "Nice, it's nice that you care so much for her."

〜 Of course I do, she's my sister. That's why I was so against her falling in love. She was going to end up hurt ninety nine percent of the time, I was sure of it. And as much as I wanted to protect her from those heartaches, I couldn't even fight anyone for my own sake.

It made me sad that she had to end up with a lame and cowardly big brother. If Calum or Michael were to be in my place, they would of kicked any guy's ass that disrespected their little sisters. Well, Michael didn't really had to do anything since May could handle things herself, but my point was still clear.

I didn't want Amanda to cry over Luke.

The ironic thing was that I was the one hurting her, instead. Knowing this in my head, I flinched my whole body and sat back up, pushing her boyfriend's lips away from my own. "I should really get going, so..."

"Don't leave." His breath tickled my ear. I had no idea how we ended up in such a dirty position but I blamed Luke, who kept nibbling on my neck. "Stay here tonight."

〜 God...What was I doing? I called my mother and told her I was spending the night at Calum's. Sure, she sounded a little surprised because I left the house with Ailyn and somehow lost her in the way as I ended up in a friend's house, but she didn't questioned me.

Amanda was a little disappointed, too. Even though she had other plans that day, she was looking forward to the night. Our mother even told me she was about to make her famous mac and cheese casserole for us. Man, I was such a horrible brother.

"You can go shower, now. I'll give you some of the clothes you let me borrow so you can change." Luke came out of the bathroom again, I swore he took a bath earlier so why the hell did he took another one? "...Ashton?"
