Those Childhood Days

I wish to be a kid again
To chase the fragile bubbles
Chasing magnificent butterflies
On roads of dust and rubble

I wish to be a kid again
And again I scrape my knee
As I fall off my toy bicycle
When I crash into another tree

I wish to be a kid again
A time when I knew nothing
When all I knew were a few words
From the songs I loved to sing
