Jungkook walked up to the boy that was sitting at the table. He wore a gray t-shirt that was visibly a few sizes bigger, a pair of black skinny jeans and a black cap covering his pretty hair, plus his glasses.
"Hi, hyung." Jungkook greeted the older that signed him to sit down. "Glasses really suit you" he continued in a shy tone.
"Thanks. Your hair looks nice on you too." Jimin said taking a sip from his coffee not noticing the small blush on Jungkook's hair that was almost the same color as his hair.
"Thanks hyung" Jungkook thanked and soon the table fell into an awkward silence.
Both of them looked at eachother for a while until Jimin noticed the small book in Jungkook's hands.
"What's that?" Jimin asked pointing at the book.
"Oh.. Um," the younger looked at the book nervously and then around the room to find something to say. "Just some light reading." he continued.
"Can I see?"
"Umm, y-yeah, su-sure, why why not?" He said giving the book to the older as his hands already were sweaty.
"Oh, you read, kids books" Jimin joked letting out a small giggle. " Do you believe it too?"
" I, um," Jungkook started nervously on a low voice while his fingers were fidgeting under the table. "I do think it's possible"
"If you say so.." Jimin said with a small amused smile.
"You don't think it's possible?"
"Not really, I find all that stuff childish." Jimin said taking off his glasses and cleaning the lenses with his T-shirt.
"Oh, so you don't think it's possible for two people to be destined together?" Jungkook asked somehow attacked by the older's words.
"No." Jimin said blankly
"Wow, hyung, I never thought of you as such a pessimistic person."
"Well my mom never actually read this kind of books to me as a kid, so yeah, I never thought of it being a possibility."
"My mom used to read this book to me when I was a little kid," he said with a small chuckle. "I never understood why, but now I do."
"Why?" the question flew out of Jimins mouth without realising.
"It's nothing" he said looking into Jimin's eyes.
"But you made me curious" Jimin said in a cute tone.
"It's really nothing. Forget it."
" Did I say something wrong, you look down all of a sudden" Jimin said alarmed at the younger's change of mood.
"No, it's not that, you didn't say anything wrong. It's just... I don't know..."
"Okay then, can I borrow the book?" Jimin asked happily.
"What would you want to do with a children's book on soulmates?" Jungkook asked with a small smile on his face.
"I want to find out why you find it so interesting"
"It doesn't go in depth abot soulmates, it's just on the surface" Jungkook explained.
"So you don't want me reading the book?"
"Nononononono, It's nothing like that! Jungkook said shaking his hands in the air sighning a no." I am saying it's pretty vague. "
" Then why do you like it? "
