Jimin was outside Iseul's house, he didn't know if he should knock or just send her a text to come down. He would like to see Iseul's mother because it's been a long time since the last time he saw her. Be he also knew that the woman will make them stay a bit more just so she can talk to them. He took both variables into consideration then knocked on the door as a tiny woman opened it with a big smile.
"Jimin! Iseul told me you will come over." The woman said with a warm smile on her face.
"Hello Mrs Hwang." Jimin greeted politely, but the woman pulled him in a hug.
"I haven't seen you in ages." She said in a scolding tone. "Come inside, Iseul and Yiseo will be down in a minute. Do you want anything, a glass of water, aything?" She asked and Jimin refused politely. "How is college? Anything new?
"It's good, nothing changed, the only new thing is that Iseul is home this winter." He smiled.
"Ma, Jimin is in a relationship now, I guess he forgot to say that." Iseul said as she walked down the stairs with her little sister.
"I am not in a relationship, I am trying to be in one though." Jimin laughed and looked at Iseul. "Oh, this is for you." Jimin smiled giving Iseul a small box.
"Is this a Christmas gift?" she opened a box and it was a silver necklace with an owl pendant. "This is so pretty! Thank you!" The girl higged him.
"Actually, it's a birthday gift." Jimin smiled.
"My birthday was in september." Iseul smiled, "But I was wondering how come you did not send me a gift this year."
"Oh, I forgot to send it." Jimin laughed as the girl punched his arm. "That hurt! Turn around do I can put it on you." he said as Iseul gave him the necklace so she can wear it.
After a few minutes the three of them walked outside the house and in Jimin's car.
"Your mother is such a lovely person, I actually missed hanging out around this place." Jimin smiled and he started driving.
"Well you are not the one that has to live with a ball of positive energy."
"Remember when we were kids and she was bringing us snacks while we were playing?" Jimin asked smiling at the memory, him and Iseul knew eachother since kindergarten.
"Yes, you used to throw my food in sand, how can I forget." the two of them laughed.
As the male drove to the mall, they kept talking about what stupid things they did as kids. After all they knew eachother for decades.
-
All three of them walked inside the mall, Iseul holding her sister's hand. They made their way to Santa's Hut, in the mall everyone either was here to do late Christmas gift shopping or was there with the kids to see Santa. They got to the Hut and there was a sign, Santa was in his lunch break, they should come back in an hour.
"Yiseo, how about we walk around a little before Santa comes back?" Jimin asked the little girl as she shook her head.
"I want to see Santa," the 6 year old said in a demanding tone.
"Well Santa is not here, how about we go look for him in the mall?" Iseul asked not wanting to stay in line at this moment.
"Okay!" the little girl smiled.
They walked through the big building looking at different clothes, jewelry, or just weird stuff in general.
"I am pretty hungry, wanna go to the food court?" Iseul asked as the male nodded, it was lunch, everyone was hungry.
