Jungkook flopped onto his bed after the "date" with Jimin.
He stared up at the ceiling, wondering what just happened.
Jimin admitted that he would go out with him again. The thought made the younger male smile, even if he low-key knew that Jimin wouldn't be able to resist him because of the force of nature. Honestly, that little fact makes him feel even better, because he knows that it's only a matter of time before him and Jimin will become a reality.
"Soon. I'll tell him soon." He decided. "What's the point in keeping it in now? He would go out with me again, which basically means he likes me. Right? Or does it mean he thinks I'm good to be around as a friend? Oh this is so confusing." He whined, covering his eyes with his hands. He turned to his side, staring out his window to see the light blue sky hold the sun in its grasp.
"Jungkook! Dinner!" He heard his mom scream from downstairs.
"Coming!" He also yelled before dragging himself out of bed and down the stairs to eat dinner.

"So Jungkook, how was your date with Jimin?" Junghyun asked in front of the family while they all chowed down on the mother's delicious food.
Jungkook choked however, trying to breathe before hitting Junghyun on the head.
"It wasn't a date! Stop blowing things out of proportion!" He facepalmed.
"Ohh! Jungkookie!"
"Dad! Not you too!" He whined, dramatically dragging his hands down his face.
"You went on a date today?! How was it?" Mr. Jeon continued.
"Daaaaaaad!" The poor boy whined, tired of the endless teasing he gets from his family.
"Oh stop it you two, dinner is not the time to tease my youngest." Mrs. Jeon interrupted.
"Thank you, Eomma-"
"That can wait for dessert!" She smiled.
"THIS IS HOPELESS!!"
~~~
"Ok family. I have an announcement!" Mrs. Jeon spoke up after the dessert, which was mochi, was finished.
"Yeah?" Junghyun asked.
"This year, we won't be giving you Christmas money."
Every year the Jeons give each of their sons $200 each to buy their friends and family Christmas presents. They've been doing that since Jungkook was 12 and Junghyun was 14, so you could imagine how this tradition being broken would affect the boys.
"What?" Jungkook questioned. How was he supposed to buy people presents now? He doesn't have much money saved up.
"Yeah, in order to buy you guys presents we need to keep the money. Also we think it would be a great opportunity for you to come up with ways to get presents." Mr. Jeon took over, explaining how much it meant for them to see their sons be independent and responsible enough to find money on their own.
"You guys, I'm touched, really. But you do realize that Christmas is next week, right?!" Junghyun pointed out, looking between his parents like they were crazy.
"Yes, so you better get to it!" Mrs. Jeon concluded, walking away and into her shared bedroom with Mr. Jeon.
"What am I supposed to do?! I rely on the Christmas money that's provided for us! It's too late to get a job!" Jungkook freaked out. He honestly couldn't think of a way to make money in such a short time period.
