You had been dating you half ghoul love kaneki for a few months now and his birthday had been rolling around. You decided to get his favorite book signed by his favorite author, Taketski.
Luckily for you she had a book signin at a nearby book store. All you had to do was get his favorite book. As soon as you got home from work you rushed to the bedroom. You were so close to stealing his favorite book but just then. "Y/n your phones ringing!" wait Kaneki's home? Oh yeah its his day off from Anteiku.
You grabbed the book and slipped it under your shirt and into the waistband of your pants. You rushed into the living area and picked up your ringing phone.
"Y/n ive been trying to contact you all day!"
"Oh sorry mom I was at work"
"Whatever, tell me what your bringing to your sisters birthday party tommorow. I need to know because we have to make room for the presents."

"You didnt forget your sisters birthday did you?"
