Breaking the news

Miriah's POV

When school was over I walked out of the building and waited for Four.

When he got outside walked over to him. He smiled at me and gave me a kiss.

"Hey we should probably walk without the others" he said.

"Okay"

He hold hands and begin walking towards his house.

*At Fours Front Door*

He put one hand on my shoulder.

"Inside this doors are two people I want you to meet, like it's very important."

"Okay Four"

As he opened the door, I saw two people sitting on the couch. Two boys actually. They both looked similar but one looks older. They're probably related.

They both had on strange attires. All black and they are wearing leathered boots. They also looked very muscular.

I slowly walked in behind Four.

He led me to the couch and sits next to me.

"Hey guys" Four said. "This is Miriah"

The first boy shook my hand.

"Hi I'm Zeke" Then he flashes a smile at me.

Then the second boy shook my hand. "Hi, I'm Uriah, Zekes younger brother"

I smiled at them both.

"Dude is this your girlfriend?" Uriah asked.

Four hesitated before he said yes.

"She looks like--"

"Uriah please" He said cutting Him up.

"Sorry"

"Anyways Miriah, I wanted to bring you here so I can tell you something. I've been thinking about this all night. I'm so sorry Miriah. But I'm moving to Chicago"

I froze. I felt like everything in the room was spinning.

"Y-Your moving to Chicago?" I managed to say."Why?"

"Miriah, it's--it's really complicated, I can't explain it myself"

"So your breaking up with me?"

"Baby I swear I don't want to do this to you I just, there's over 9,000 depending on me to save their lives. I have to move"

"Explain."

"I--"

"Oh my God" Uriah says rolling his eyes and moving his hands up like a girl. "So before Four moved here he lived in Chicago and there were factions. the Abnegation, Dauntless, Erudite, Candor, and Amity. Four was Abnegation born but switched to Dauntless. Anyways so they made up all these new rules and crap."

He paused to inhale and exhale.

"Then the ruler of Erudite came and started trying to kill Abnegation and she killed Divergents too and stuff and many people died Her name was Jeanine. Everyone thought she died but she faked it and now everyone is captured and endangered and we need Four to come and help us or we will All DIE!" He finished off.

Then he inhaled and exhaled again.

I had a confused look on my face.

"Look, long story short. Our Factions are endangered and we need Fours help." Zeke said.

I turned to Four.

"Is this true?" I asked with tears filling my eyes.

He nodded.

"Okay, you can go. But I want to come too."

"No No No No No definitely Nawt!" Uriah said.

I turned to look at him. "Sorry for irrelevant question. But Uriah are you gay?"

"Bish whet?" He asked. "What makes you think I'm gay?"

"Well, I have a friend who asks like you sometimes. I just figured out he was gay."

"Wait Mark is Gay?" Four asked.

"Oops." I said.

"Anyways." Zeke said sternly. "You can't come. It's too dangerous."

"Why? Just because I'm a girl, I can't come?" I asked In frustration.

"Yes basically" Uriah bluntly said.

I sighed.

"When are you leaving? Next month?"I mumbled.

"Next week...."

"Next week?!"

"Miriah, I'm really sorry. I have to be there as soon as possible."

"So that's it? I'm never going to see you again?"

"Technically yeah." Uriah said.

"Uriah, can you not?" Four shot.

"Sorry man."

"Four, I want to come."

"Miriah I'm sorry you can't."

I put my hands on face and start to cry.
