Chapter 2

Nicole

I woke the next morning brushed my teeth and got dressed. I put on A superman crop top, dark blue highwaisted shorts, and white converse. I washed my face and put on Mascara and Eyeliner. I didn't like to wear to much makeup. I curled my hair. After that I put on a black and white snapback on. I went into the kitchen and Connor and Kian were sitting on the counter. I stopped and you could hear my shoes squeak.

"Um what are guys doing here?" I asked.

"Carly invited us," Connor said. Carly came out of her room.

"Carly why didnt you tell me," I said.

"I wanted it to be a surprise," she said. "Surprise," she said throwing her hands in the air. I rolled my eyes and went into the kitchen. I coco puffs and put them into a bowl and put milk in it. I sat at the table and checked my twitter. In my mentions it said Kian Lawley has mentioned you in a tweet. "@Kianlawley; I'm not that corny @Nicole_Brookes" I glanced at him and he winked at me. Damn this boy was hot. Kian tweeted again saying "@Kianlawley; i think your hot too @Nicole_Brookes ;)"

Shit did i say that outloud?! I looked at Kian and he raised on eyebrow. I looked away and continued eating my coco puffs.

After i was done i put it in the sink. Kian came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me. He acts like we're dating. "Kian," I said.

"yeah," he said still hugging me.

"You havent even asked me out and your acting like we're dating," I said lighlt pushing him off me.

"So?" he said.

"So i think you ask me out before kissing me and hugging me," I said.

"Technically you kissed me first," he said with a smirk on his face.

"Technically I dont care," I said sitting on top of the counter.

"Would you like to go on a date with me?" he asked.

"No," I said. He seemed confused. "Kian your cute but we just met and i want to be friends before we become boyfriend and girlfriend."

"You just got friend zoned!" Connor said laughing.

"So did you," Kian said pouting.

"Actually she said yes," Connor said holding Carly's hand. Carly is boy crazy. She thinks every guy is cute. Connor will probaly last one week with her then she'll find some other guy.

"Kian wanna come to the park with me?" I asked. His face lit up. He nodded. "Ok do you have your penny board with you?" I asked.

"Yeah," he said.

"Ok we'll ride to the park let me get my board," I said walking into my room to get my penny board. It was a pastel green with pink pastel wheels. I closed my door and went into the living room. Kian was there with his penny board.

"Ready?" i asked.

"yeah lets go," he said.

I got my phone and said, "Carly don't have too much fun,"

"You too," she said. We both laughed. I closed the door and skated towards Kian. We got to the park and we sat down on the swings.

"Tell me about yourself," Kian said.

"wow your a straight forward guy," I said.

"Sometimes," he said.

"Ok well I was born San Diego. I had a mom and dad. But my dad had a drinking problem, he abused me a lot. I also got bullied at school. I used to cut daily." I said showing him my scars. I could tell he felt awkward because he didn't really say anything. "I havent cut in a long time though. So after my mom found out he abused me, we moved to San Francisco. My mom divorced my dad and he stayed in San Diego. When i lived in San Francisco i met Carly. We've been friends for 5 years now. I've always wanted to be an actress so I started making youtube videos. I got thousands of views and had thousands of subscribers. I met many of youtubers. Tyler Oakley, Superwoman, Bethany mota, Jennxpenn. And alot more."

"Wow well i just wanted to know like your favorite color," he said.

"Mint green," i said laughing. He grabbed my hand but i let go. "Thats not just friends."

"Friends hold hands," he said. I shook my head. We headed back to my place. I opened the door and Carly and Connor were on the couch. Connor got up gave Carly a kiss and him and Kian left.

"So is this your boy of the week," I said sitting next to her.

"Very funny," she said. "This one's different though."

"You said that about boyfriends two through fourteen," i said.

"I'm serious Nic there's something about him that just makes me feel," she said. "Its hard to explain," she said. "It was like you and Justin."

"Can we not talk about him," i said. (no its not justin bieber)

"C'mon you two broke up last year," she said.

"Well yeah but it was a hurtful breakup," I said.

"You never told me how you two broke up," she said,

"Well we were at the park for our 2 year anniversary." i said.

*Flashback*

I went into the bathroom and when i came out I saw some girl on top of Justin. I kicked her off him and said. "What the hell Justin!"

"What?" he said.

"Your celebrating our two year anniversary with the wrong girl!" i yelled at him.

"C'mon your not the only fish in the sea," he said. He leaned in and kissed me.

"You know I hope you two are very happy together," I said walking away.

"C'mon baby wait," he said grabbing my arm. I turned around and slapped him.

"Justin please don't talk to me ever again, dont text me, dont call me, and dont even look at me." I said.

"I'll do what I want," he said pulling me into his chest. I grabbed the smoothies and poured it on him.

"That's for being a jerk," i said. I got the ice form the cooler and poured it down his pants. "And that's  for being a liar." I walked away crying.

*Flashback over*

"Wow i never knew," she said.

"Well now you know," i said.

"Do you want to talk about it?" she said.

"We just did," i said getting up and going to my room.
