I was at Caly's house. She and Sam got married a few months after me and Kian got married. Sam was watching Tv me and Carly were eating cookies.
"How are you feeling today?" She asked me taking a bite of her cookie.
"Not so good," I said finishing my cookie.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"I went to the doctor yesterday and um," I said as Carly put her hand on top of mine looking me in the eyes, "I had a miscarriage." Carly put her hands on her mouth and gave me a hug. I love Carly so much I don't know what I would do without her.
"Are you guys going to try again?" She asked me.
"Yeah but maybe in a few months," I said. "I just think that we weren't ready to become parents."
"Maybe your timing wasn't right," She said. "But you two were meant to become parents."
I gave Carly a hug and drove back home.
