Chapter 11

Nicole

Today was the day of my audition. I wore washed out blue jeans, a gray tank top that had a black dreamcather on it. I put on black converse high tops. I put on mascara and eyeliner, and straightened my hair. I went into the Kitchen and ate an apple. I locked the door and got into my car.

I got to the Hollywood Theater and went inside. There were so many girls there. I saw Jennifer Lawerence, Shailen Woodley and Emma Watson. A girl walked up on stage and said.

"Hello laidies welcome to the auditions a script should be coming out to all of you,"She said. I got the script and started reading it. "This movie is about a girl who is very depressed and she starts cutting and thinks about committing suicide but then she meet a boy named Jake and he gelps her get throught it," She said. This seems like an easy role to play.

"You will act out whatever seen we tell you to act out" the director

"First up Shailine Woodley," she said walking off the stage. (Idc if i spelt wrong.)

"AShton what are you doing," the director said acting out Jake.

"This is how i get rid of the pain," Shailine said pretending to cut herself.

"Ashton stop," the director said.

"No I have to do it!" Shailine says.

"No please ashton dont do it," the director said.

"Why do you care! You wouldnt miss me anyways no one would my dad siad i was a waste of space," she said. A tear came out.

"Jake takes away the blades and throws them out the window," the director narrates.

"NO JAKE WHAT THE HELL!" Shailine yelled. She started crying. She was a great actress. Everyone clapped.

"up next Nicole Brookes," The director said. I walked up on stage and a bunch of girls were whispering.

"Nicole you will act out scene 45 when you find out that your mom has died of cancer," the director said. "And action!"

"Mom! Mom! Please wake up!" I yelled.

"Ashton its no use she's gone," the director said acting out Jake.

"No she cant be! Mom please i'm sorry i'm sorry for yelling i'm sorry for everything please wake up!" I yell while crying.

"I'm sorry but you must go," the director says acting out the doctor.

"NO! Mom! please stay!" I say crying. I fell on my knees and started crying. I got up and everyone started clapping. I got off the stage and everyone had teary eyes.

After everyone auditioned the director said, "Ok we'll go over them and we'll call you tommorrow." I walked out and got into my car. I drove to my apartment.

I ot out of my car and went inside. I saw Carly on the couch with Connor.

"hey how was the audition?" She asked.

"Um it went great," I said.

"Great there's some leftover chicken in the fridge if you want," she said.

"No there's not you ate it all," Connor said laughing.

"Its ok i'm not that hungry anyways," i said. I walked into my room and flopped onto my bed. I got out my phone and tweeted, "@NicoleBrookes: Had an audition today for a new movie hope i get the part." I got a text form kian saying.

Kian <3: How was the audition? :)

Me:Exhausting but i think i did good.

Kian <3: can i come over?

Me: Kian i'm so tired i'm gonna take a nap maybe later :)

Kian <3: K :)

I turned of my phone and crawled under the covers.

I got up the next morning and brusheed my teeth, took off my makeup from the day before, put on mascara and eyeliner. I got dressed and put on white high waisted shorts, a black tank top that said jack Daniel's, and some white converse. I went into the kitchen and i ate a yogurt. Carly came out in leggings and a white flowy crop top.

"Hey," she said.

"Hey so i was-," I said but then my phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hello is this Nicole Brookes?" a female asked.

"Yes who is this?" I asked her.

"This is director of the movie Stay and we have chosen you to play Ashton Meyers," she said.

"can you hold on just one second," I said holding in my excitement. i covered the speaker and said, "Carly i got the part!" We jumped up and down screaming.

"I'm back," I told the director.

"Ok we start shooting in three weeks at the universal studios set 8 congradulations," she said. I hung up and i started screaming.

"I cant believe you got the part!" Carly said.

"i know i mean i just never believed this would happen!" I said. I heard a knock on th door.

"Come in!" I said. Kian came in and he ran towards me. He picked me up and spun me around!

"I heard you got the part!" he said.

"Yeah i did!" I said.

"So when do you get the script," he said putting me down.

"Tommorrow but we start shooting next week," I said

"That means i wont be seeing you alot," he said.

"Yes but dont worry i'm sure you'll be able to come to set with me," i said holding his hands.

"Its ok i'll be fine," he said. He pecked my lips.

"Alright enough with all this lovey dovey stuff lets throw a party!" Carly said.

"Carly our apartment isnt even big enough," i said.

"Kian?" she asked.

"Yeah of coarse text everyone you know and invite them over," he said. we all got out our phones.

"Done," Kian said. we all put our phones down.

"Ok so now we have to go get snacks and stuff," I said.

"And some drinks," Kian said winking.

"As long as everyone you texted was over 21," i said.

"So thats a no?" he asked.

"You can get one bottle," I said.

"K," he said.

"Carly you go get the hosue ready and me and Kian will get some snacks.

Carly got into her car and drove away. I got into Kians car and we drove to Ralphs.

We went inside and Kian got a cart.

"Ok so lets get some oreos," I said getting like 10 boxes of oreos.

"and we need 3 liters of soda," i said puting sprite, Coke, and orange soda into the cart.

"Can we get water balloons, silly sting, confetti, and glow sticks?" kian asked jumping up and down. He was still a five year old by heart.

"Ok Kian," I said. He ran and got all of the stuff and put it cart.

"What else?" I said.

"Chips and salsa," kian said. I got the tortilla chips and put it into the cart. Then i put the salsa in the cart.

"More chips!" he said getting a whole bunch of chips and put it into the cart.

"Is that it?" i asked him.

"Candy!" he said runnign to get the candy. He got so much candy he couldnt even carry it. He dumped it into the cart.

"Ok i think thats it," i said. we got to the Cashier and kian placed all the stuff of the counter.

"Your paying," i said to him.
