Kaelie's POV
"Ok so what?"

"I think you just misunderstood me but...WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HELPING YOUR EX'S SISTER???"

This is probably one of the reasons I hate Julius. I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned against the wall.

"For your information, she was my best friend first before I dated her low-life, no good, sad excuse of a man brother of hers."

His eyes twitched just like Stiles Stilinski's when Scott does something he doesn't approve of. I love that Show so much.

"Eagle and Tiger this is Vulture. What the hell are you two doing together?"

"We-."

"No more excuses Julius. Kaelie are there any signs of your friend?"

I told the others that she wasn't here yet and tried to make Julius leave me alone. After a few minutes of arguing back and forth I decided to let him stay.

A few minutes later, I heard footsteps, actually heels clicking toward our direction. I looked up and saw my best friend with a coat and sun glasses on.

"Luane, is that you?"

"No Kaelie it is not." She said sarcastically. Yup this is Luane. I rolled my eyes and ran to her as quickly as I could. I hugged her tight, so tight that she turned blue.

"Hey St.Martin, I advice that you let her go. She probably dies because of you instead of the killer." He said with a smirk leaning against the wall.

"Oh wipe that smirk off your face and tell the others that she's here. " I didn't fail to notice Luane scrutinising my team mate. She was visibly drooling at Julius and I am disgusted.

She elbowed my side-which hurt so much- and harshly whispered-shouted at me to introduce her to the careless boy in front of us.

"Julius, this is my best friend Luane." Luane extended her hands to Julius but he just looked at it. "Pfft, some friend you are. Letting your own brother break your best friend's heart."

I glared at him to stop but he stood straight and just kept talking. "Oh C'mon Kaelie, don't tell me the tears you had shed three months ago was just water. I couldn't even sleep because of your loud cries at midnight."

I hugged and dragged my best friend away from Julius.

"Don't mind him he's always like that. I called you here because someone is trying to kill you, and it ain't good."

"Kaelie this is Diane. J informed us that you are with the target. Get her to base immediately for her safety and the safety of other civilians."

I told her that we were on our way and unfortunately had to call Julius to come back with us. I asked Luane to wear a bullet proof vest to protect her in case the killer strikes us. We found Julius still leaning against the wall, smoking a cigarette.

"We're going."

He put out his cigarette and removed dust off his jacket. We left the sketchy alley as discreetly as possible and tried to blend in the crowd, where we thought we were safe.

Everything happened so fast. We suddenly heard gun shots and people screaming. Julius took out his gone and shot several times toward a building ledge, where the killer is probably stationed. I quickly called for back up because the civilians were getting hurt and that was what we were avoiding. Luane was obedient and followed every word I said.

After a few moments Diane arrived and escorted her into the van. Julius was still trying to look for the shooter and I tried to help the civilians. The place look like a mess with all the chaos that had happened. The police and ambulance eventually arrived and helped the injured citizens tend to their injuries. there were a total of 12 people injured but none were fatal.

Diane and I were talking when an old man kindly asked us if we saw his grandson, whom he unfortunately lost because of the rampage that happened. Diane wanted to help the old man when suddenly...

"GIVE ME THE GIRL OR ELSE I WILL SHOOT HIM."

The old man gasped loudly and almost tried not to cry. "That's him, my grandson." Julius ran to my side panting and reloading his gun. "He was quick on his feet and took the boy, I was shot on the leg I tried to run as fast as I can."

"Julius go to a medic I will handle this." A medic approached him  and got him in an ambulance.

Diane started talking to the man and tried to negotiate with him."

The old man was worried and panicking at this point. I mean his grandson was at gunpoint, only because a psychopath wanted to kill a girl.

"Listen, let go of the boy and I'll give you what you want. Either you do it your way or my way. But my way is easier." Well made his choice when he tried to shoot me, which I dodged easily. Only problem is now we have a flat tire.

"Fine. Let's do it the way I did before." I loaded my gun and quickly shot his shoulder. He got distracted and that's when I told Diane to strategically pull the boy to safety and reunite with his grandpa.

I got closer to the gunman who was lying on the ground because of the shock and pain the bullet probably caused him.

He was panting and tried to crawl away from me, I pointed my gun at him and just stared. "Why did you leave the agency and joined these idiots when you could have been rich and powerful."

I shrugged my shoulders and blew stray hair off my face. "I got bored and wanted something new. These guys pay much higher than what G used to pay me."

And this bastard took advantage of the situation while I was talking, good thing I was also quick. He fired his gun at me multiple times and I shot him  directly at his forehead. I blew off the steam from my gun like what badass people do in the movies and turned around. I thought everything was alright but then I found one policemen behind me wasn't quick enough and got shot at his chest area. His knees gave out and he fell on the ground. I quickly ran beside him and added pressure to his wounds.
He was loosing a lot of blood.

"Sir, hold on. You are going to be okay you hear me?" His breathing was getting ragged and he was turning pale. He weakly took something out of his breast pocket, a letter. It was pink and had a bunch of decorations on it. The letter was addressed to Emily.

"Give this to my daughter please. It's her birthday tomorrow." Oh God I may be an assassin but I don't know what to do in these kinds of situation. This isn't for me. I don't know what to do. He took my hand and put the letter inside. The medics finally came to aid him and escort him to the hospital.

I was still seated on the ground because of shock. My clothes were soaked with the officer's blood. I don't even know who he is but he entrusted me with his letter to his daughter.

"Kaelie, it will be alright. We caught the criminal and that's what matters." My focus averted back to Diane. I clutched the letter and put it in my coat's inside pocket.

"Will it really Diane? Because it doesn't feel like it."

She said nothing after that and the ride back to the station.
