Chapter two: How to annoy an assassin 101

Matt's POV
"And that is how I realized that I am an attractive lad. They must consider taking me on the bachelor because I'm smoking hot, the sun can't even handle."

"Oh please. If it all came down to you, the ladies would probably choose the plant at any given moment."

"Oh you wish Kaelie, you're just jealous that you will never get a piece of this." Julius starts flexing and flaunting himself to Kaelie.

"Oh Yuck! The horror, Oh Lord my eyes! Kill me now!" Kaelie began to gag and move away from Julius.

"Oi enough you two, I can't read my book properly". I am currently reading a manual on how to fix cars because Julius broke one of our cars a few days ago. We just asked him to buy a few groceries.

Julius gasped and moved closer to me, "Is it true or did my ears deceive me? Are you really reading a book?" He widened his eyes in mock surprise and put his hand on his mouth.

"Oh stop acting like a kid Julius, You already look the part you don't have to act like it." She smirked and sassily crossed her arms over her chest.

"Psh. Completely biased, you just like him that's all."

They continue to talk about me as if I wasn't in the same room as them. All I heard was bickering back and forth for a good hour until Kaelie started talking about something interesting that peaked my interest.

"Well yeah. He was an ass anyways I had no trouble breaking up with him. "

"Well that's because I was with you the whole time. You got distracted by my perfection to feel bad over it." She playfully punched Julius' left arm and hugged the pillow she was holding tighter. It was six in the morning and I am loving it.

"No in all seriousness. He was a jerk and I could have killed him easily. But his sister was my friend first so I can't do that."

"Awww, my little Kaelie-poo is sad. C'mere and let me give you a big snuggly cuddly hug." Julius tried to reach out for her playfully but she threw the pillow she was holding at him. I laughed a little too loudly because they snapped their heads at me.

I guess they forgot that I was here. *Sighs deeply*

"Yow Matt, I say we take Kaelie to the place." I raised my eyebrows at him then took a sip of my coffee. I stood up and sat down on the sofa with them.

"What place exactly?"

"You know where we both go when we get bored. "

How am I not informed about this place.

"The park bro!"

Oh now I remember. I drift off to all the embarrassing Crap that Julius made me do while we were in the park.

"Oi," He snapped me back to reality, "So what should we take her? I mean it's our off day anyways." I pretended to thoroughly think about it while stroking my chin.

"I say no."

"No?"

"You know exactly what I said."

"But why. You had memories there. A lot of good stuff and all."

"Correction, You had good memories while I was to busy getting embarrassed in public because of your foolish dares."

Kaelie became more interested to her nails- that are extremely sharp, really how do they wash their bottoms with it? It looks deadly- and began humming the tunes of the latest pop songs.

"So what? Are you both going to take me to that special place of yours?"

"Aww don't be jealous Kaelie, Matt just loves me more."

She rolled her eyes and began to play with her phone. She's probably on instagram.

"Oi mate!" He snapped his fingers in front of my face.

"Wh-what?"

"Are you done gawking and day dreaming about her" He crosses his arms over his chest.

Diane walked into the room with a perfect bun and formal wear. She just grabbed a cup of coffee and hurriedly left. Our eyes all turned to the door where she left, confusion etched on our faces.

Kaelie moved next to Julius with a smirk on her face. "Aww it's ok, if Matt loves me more I love you more." She said with a finger on his chest. He blushed furiously and tried to conceal it by looking away. I laughed and Kaelie joined me.

"Not cool Kaelie...because you love me too much. Even girls like you can't get your hands off of me." He smirked. he held her hands closer to his chest and smiled. Like the goofy smile he wears when he flirts with girls. Usually 99% of the time he succeeds. But the other 1% is Kaelie. They both looked at each other challenging the other to do something stupid. Truly the competitive people they are, they weren't letting go.

"Oh shove off Julius. As if, you would be the first one to fall in love with me." She finally broke off the intense stare down which I was truly grateful for.

He raised his eyebrows and and leaned back on the couch, letting go of her hand (which was covered with paint but oddly it looked artistic).

"Ehem. Guys I'm still here. I don't want to watch you both flirt in front of me. I get a lot of those with Leo and Diane."

Kaelie lazily looked into my direction and gave me a lopsided smile. "It's ok Matty. This," she pointed between her and Julius, "Will never happen."

Leo finally walked in lazily. With some magic sand still in his eyes, He rubbed them off and took a bowl and his favourite cereal and milk from one of the cupboard, he sat on one of the stools. and prepared himself a breakfast. All this we witnessed mid-banter.

"GOOD MORNING LEO."

"Good morning Leo."

"Good morning man."

We all greeted, but just received a grunt in return.

"So...when are you going to take me to that special place of yours."

"Right now!"

Julius hopped out of the couch and searched for the car keys. When he found it, he went over to the couch and smiled dangling the keys with his index finger.

"Um...no, I would rather you take the Harley and I'd ride with you. Matt will ride alone."

"Why does she get to ride with you?" I whine. He always gets to take Kaelie, I mean he knows I like her but bro, why?

"Matt, sweetie. It's because you ride safely, he doesn't. I must remind you that I still hate him with my guts but I would prefer him over you when it comes to breaking the rules."

Kaelie stood up and went into her room so did Julius. When they came back they wore a matching leather jacket and boots Kaelie wore a white tank top I think with black jeans , while J went with a black shirt and black pants. Did they plan this? Or was this Julius' Idea to make fun of me while I sort of 'third wheel' with them.

"Let's go!"

We hopped on to our bikes and started the engine. I brought the food and put it in the compartment because Julius said he already got a passenger, to be fair I should bring the food.

He smirked at me as if he was teasing which he was in a way.  We both started our engines and he all of a sudden moved forward so fast that I could still see faint marks from where they were, leaving me behind. I rolled my eyes and started to catch up with them.
