"Good afternoon, people!", I cheerfully said as I opened the door to Anteiku.

"Hello, Okuyama-san", Koma answered with a smile.

"Oh please Koma-kun, call me Eiko", I said as I sat down at the bar and put my bag on the floor.

"Very well, Eiko", he answered as he poured me a cup of coffee.

The cafe was pretty quiet. A few customers, Koma and Nishio the only two working.

"Nishio", I mischievously said as I turned to him.

"What?", he asked as he looked up from the magazine he was reading.

"How's your girlfriend?", I asked with a smile.

"None of your business", Nishio answered and he looked back at his magazine.

"Very well then", I said and I turned back to Koma. "Is Hinami present?"

"Yes, upstairs", he answered. "Feel free to go up there if you want."

"Thank you, Koma-kun", I said with a small smile.

I got up with my coffee in my hand and grabbed my bag. Then I turned to Nishio.

"See, Nishiki-kun?", I said. "Those are manners. Get some."

I turned back around and opened the door leading to the stairs. I walked up and through the hall until I reached the small living room. I knocked on the door and opened it a little.

"Hinami-chan?", I said. "It's me, Eiko."

I opened the door completely and walked in. Hinami was sitting on the couch, reading a book.

"Eiko-chan", she said as I walked in. "What are you doing here?"

"I thought I'd stop by", I said as I put my coffee on the table and sat down beside her. "I wanted to go to a bookstore and I thought you might like to come with me."

"I can't", Hinami answered. "The doves can't see me."

"They won't", I answered. "I have a disguise for you."

I grabbed my bag and opened it. I took out a pair of big sunglasses and a long black coat.

"See?", I said with a smile. "They won't recognize you."

Hinami seemed to think about that for a second. Then she slowly nodded.

"Alright then", she said. "But only if Nishiki-kun comes with us."

I tried to hide my utter dissatisfaction and nodded.

"Very well", I said instead. "You change, I'll wait for you downstairs."

Hinami nodded and I got up. I grabbed my bag and gulped down my coffee, taking the cup with me. I walked out of the room and closed the door behind me. Then I went downstairs, back into the cafe.

"Back so soon, Eiko-san?", Koma asked.

"Yes", I answered as I gave him my empty cup. "Hinami and I are going to a bookstore."

"The hell you are", Nishio, who was suddenly standing next to me, hissed.

"Stop your whining, Nishiki", I replied. "At Hinami's request, I'd like to ask you to join us."

Nishio narrowed his eyes as he looked at me. Then he pushed his glasses up his nose and nodded.

"Give me a minute to change", he said and I nodded.

He disappeared through a door and I sat down at a table at the window. About a minute later Hinami came down the stairs, wearing the black coat I gave her. She was holding the sunglasses in her hand.
