"(Y/N), this is Mallory" Zoe smiles, "Mallory here has the same type of powers as you. Ones of life and white magic. She could probably teach you a thing or two." She gestures to a girl with a golden crown placed in her hair. She was changing the color of a white rose. I wave shyly to her.

"I like your crown" she says, pointing to the white daisies woven into my locks.

"I like yours too."

She laughs and her eyes scan the rest of my attire. "Dressing in white? Thats new around here." I look around to see all of the witches dressed in dark colors.

"Um. Yeah. I wear white most of the time. I enjoy the brightness of it," I say simply. She nods, understanding. "So what can you do?" I ask her. She pauses, thinking.

"I'm a healer, I guess. I can reverse wounds. I'm not really sure how, honestly, but I can," she shrugs. She asks for me to demonstrate my abilities.

"Well, whats your favorite flower?"

"I really love tulips," she says to me. I raise my palm to her and her eyes fill with excitement after a bright white light shines in a ring on my palm. In the center a green stem appeared, and it sprouted a white tulip. "Can you change its color?" She asks.

"I mean, I've never attempted to, but, here let me try," I state, focusing the energy in my hand. My mind is filled with the color white, but then it fades into a bright, rich purple.

"Amazing!" Mallory exclaims.

"I can do something else with it," I tell her, picking it from my hand and crumpling it. A bright light once again appears in my hands, when I separate them a tiny colorful hummingbird flits her wings around the room.

"You've learned all of this without training?" She asks, astonished. I nod my head. "Well then, (Y/N), I truly believe you're something special."

Cordelia and Zoe urge Mallory and I to follow them. They lead us to the backyard where there was a big open space of grass.

Cordelia begins, "Now (Y/N), I have seen your powers on a small scale. Lets try something. I'd like to see you sprout roses all around," she gestures to the open area, "here." I nod, sitting on my knees in the grass. I extend my arms and the dirt begins to glow in the all familiar white glow. A dense vegetation springs up, slowly turning into bright white rose bushes. The three girls nod their heads in approval. Zoe whispers something to Cordelia.

"Now, if you can, turn these into a living, breathing creature."

I hold my breath, refocusing my attention onto the patch of bushes

I hold my breath, refocusing my attention onto the patch of bushes. The brilliance of the shine this time causes the three to look away as the transformation begins. It lasts a few seconds before it stops, a lamb standing on her feeble legs and trotting over to where we all stood. She lets out a small bleat from her throat, her eyes large and full of curiosity. I can't help but smile at her as I run my hand down from her head, down her back to her tail.

"You truly are a wonder, (Y/N)," Cordelia nods. "Now, this backyard is your playground. Try what you like," she says, the three girls begin to walk back to the house, "but be careful, and get ready for dinner soon." With that they were gone. I look around, taking in my surroundings. That's when I noticed golden locks and blue eyes.

Thats when I noticed him.

A wonder she is. Creating a lamb with nothing but the earth. Funny how she chose a gentle creature, its very fitting to what my father told me about her. A woman of pure virtue. My father said she would be the one to keep close, though I don't know how. Her pure, white magic with my dark type makes no sense to me. How would she rule by my side in the new world if she thrives off of the life that the earth provides her? It can't be, but he is never wrong.

"Hello?" She calls out. Her gentle eyes meet mine. "Can I help you?"

"No, I, um, I saw what you did with the lamb," I call back. She immediately looks nervous.

"You- you did?" Her eyes open wide.

"Yeah," I say, her face not hiding tears welling up in her eyes. Why was she so worried I saw her powers when witches are in the open now? "Hey, no its okay," I reassure her. "I have gifts too, see?" I lift my hand and begin a slight rainfall, quickly waving it away and commanding a rainbow to appear, knowing it would make her more happy. She smiles. "I could maybe teach you weather manipulation," I offer. She nods her head.

"I'd like that a lot." Her voice is sweet sounding. She speaks melodically like birdsong.

"I'm glad. Would you like to go on a walk?" I ask her. She hesitantly nods and says she'll meet me in front. I ask her to wait. "No need for that. It sounds odd, but picture yourself next to me." She closes her eyes and appears by my side. She opens her eyes and looks shocked. "Transmutation, Sweetheart. I knew you were capable." We begin to walk down the street in silence. "So whats your name?"

"I'm (Y/N)."

"Pretty name. It suits you," I smile. This was a bit awkward for me, but I have to befriend this girl. Win her over. It's my father's command. Surprisingly, she blushes and says thanks. With this, a bird perches on a power line above us. I look at it and send it up in flames. It falls to the ground in front of (Y/N), its body badly burned. "Would you look at that," I shake my head in false disapproval. She looks shocked. Saddened even. I, for some reason, felt somewhat guilty after seeing the look across her face.

"We... We need to help it," she mumbles, heartbroken. She gently cups it in her hands.

"(Y/N) its too la-" I begin, but stop when I see a bright gleam in her hands. When she opens, the bird flies away, completely unharmed. She has so many abilities already. I'm starting to see why my father had decided she was the one, but still. Her heart is too pure for her to willingly join me. Unless, of course, I can manage to make her blindly fall in love with me. It might be difficult, but I could try.

The two of us walk around the street to where I thought she would enjoy. A flower garden. I can tell by the way she looks around that she's happy. As she walked past the different plants, they would grow and blossom, almost as if they were smiling at her. I won't deny that I find her beautiful, everyone does. I pluck a dark red, thornless rose from a bush and tuck it behind her ear. She looks down bashfully.

"The dark red really contrasts your white attire. I like it a lot," I tell her truthfully. I do like the presence of the darkness on her, though I feel like it dampens her allure. Her sweet aura is so very attractive to my dark one. Maybe her presence won't be so bad.
