Desperation. I've never felt so much pain in my life. I- I HURT her. That's so unforgivable, I just- I don't even know what to do with myself! I can't go on without her. Just laying here in bed is taking such a toll on me. Her face, frightened and in pain, is all I can think about. Its haunting.

Mrs. Mead is growing anxious. I mean, she has tried to make me eat or leave my room, but I simply can't. I have to try to talk to her.

You

In the front garden, I sat in the grass using my weather abilities to water my flowers. From the corner of my eye I see a bit of movement by the gate. I keep my attention on the roses thinking that it is Michael.

"Miss?" the boy calls out. It shocks me a little, as his voice wasn't close to Michaels. It was Australian. I jump a bit, standing to my feet and turning around. "Oh! I'm sorry to startle you!" I walk over to him at the gate. "I'm Brandon. Brandon Shepherd." I look him over shyly.

He was dressed in torn jeans and a white tshirt with a flannel over it. His hair was dark which contrasted the light gray beanie he wore with it. His eyes were a pale, hypnotizing blue. He had a soft smile that seemed to radiate kindness. I finally speak.

"Im (Y/N)."

"Nice to meet you," he smiles, reaching his hand through the gate. I shake it shyly. "Anyways, I have my band playing an a shop down the street. Would you like to go?" I nod my head slowly, still skeptical of the stranger.

"I should probably explain why I was at your gate," he says as I exit the school's walls. "I don't want to sound like a creep or anything, but from time to time I would see you gardening out in front of the school on my way home from practice. I honestly couldn't get you out of my mind. So, today I finally decided to introduce myself to you."

I smile to myself a little, glad to maybe have a new friend.

"I hope thats not too weird for you," he grins bashfully.

"Honestly, thats one of the more normal things that have happened to me," I laugh, kicking a rock on the sidewalk.

"I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but you're one of those witches right? Because thats really cool."

"Yeah, I am. You don't happen to be a warlock or anything do you?" I ask. He laughs at this.

"Nope! I'm just a boring teenage boy. Sorry to disappoint." I catch a glimpse of a certain blond boy across the street. Michael glanced between me and Brandon, a hurt expression on his face.

"Trust me, that is not disappointing at all."
