I run fast. I feel dazed and confused, almost in a dreamlike state. How could Michael hurt me like that? I thought he had some control, but I guess not. Honestly I don't even think I can look at him again, at least not for a while. I just need to go home.
The gash on my cheek was pretty bad. Blood spilt onto my white shirt and the whole left side of my cheek was sticky and wet. Holding it with my palm doesn't even seem to be helping anymore. I stumble into the academy and immediately seek out Mallory or Cordelia. Whoever I can find first.
I turn around the counter to see Mallory reading a book. She glances up quickly, then focuses on the book before shooting her head back to look at me.
"(Y/N)! What happened!? Are you okay? It looks like you've lost a lot of blood." She looks me over before I burst out into tears. This hurt me even more, the salty water entering the wound. I try to speak but I can't get any words out. "I'm getting Cordelia and a bandage or something, just- just wait here," she says, running out of the room. When she returns, she drags Cordelia in behind her. Cordelia's face goes from confused to panicked.
"What happened?" She says, looking at the wound. She sits on the couch next to me inspecting the severity of it. It's hard for me to speak.
"Mi- Michael... he-" I manage, but Cordelia cuts me off. I begin to pull myself together.
"I knew he was trouble! How did he do this?" She asks as I regain my composure.
"He... he was angry and I- I mean that- I mean he just kind of threw me but he didn't lay a finger on me," I say, trying to get a grip on my thoughts.
"Telekinesis. He is strangely powerful. (Y/N), I'm not going to forbid you to see him, but I truly believe that you should stay away. There's something wrong."
"I don't want to see him," I tell her, pain present in my voice. Mallory speaks.
"So if he comes to the door...?" She asks.
"Tell him to go away."
