Chapter 14

Brooklyn's POV:

I felt someone cuddle in next to me on my comforter. I jumped a little though when I felt their arm snake over my waist and pull me towards them. My eyes widened. But I then felt them kiss the top of my head before they fell asleep. I only knew one person who does that. Liam. I let out a breath of relief and soaked in his body warmth. No one in my entire life has ever cared about me this much. I was still perplexed on why he did all of these things for me too. I mean I'm completely ordinary. I'm not that pretty either. But I was in love with him undoubtedly. He was perfect in every way but as to me I had all different kinds of flaws. This felt like the safest place in the world. Right here wrapped up in his strong arms. All of these thoughts just kept swirling around in my head while I slowly fell asleep to the sound of rain outside.

I woke up by the feel of Liam's breathing on my neck. It sent shivers down my spine. So I flipped over silently and noticed that he had a pair of sweatpants on and no shirt. Before any perverted thoughts popped up into my head I quickly threw my attention to his face and studied his chiseled features for what seemed like forever. Just to make sure not to forget what he looked like and remember this moment. But I stopped what I was doing when all of a sudden his eyes fluttered open and stared back at me with curiousity probably wondering why I was staring at him while he was sleeping. "Hey." I said smiling. "Hi." He said smiling back at me. "Well I think that we need to get up now for Harry's party that will start in an hour which leaves us some time to get ready and then drive to his house with possibly 10 minutes to spare." I said. "I love it when you talk mathematical to me." He said grinning just inches away from my face. I took a breath and got up and reached my hand out so he could take it to get up. He stared at my arm for a couple of minutes hesitating but took it and got up and walked to his room to get changed. So I took a quick shower to wake up and then put on the clothes that I laid out which was a Roxy crop tee and some purple shorts and my new pair of black toms. My hair was all tangled so I brushed it out and put it in a braid that went all the way down to my waist. I was pleased with my look and went downstairs to find Liam with his hands in his pockets. He was just waiting for me. I smiled and blushed at the thought and we both entwined our fingers and headed off to the party as happy as can be with no worries. We arrived at the party just in time and spent a couple of hours talking and laughing with some of the other people. There were alcoholic drinks but Liam and I didn't have any cause I didn't want one and he had only one kidney left so he didn't really have any. But I stayed with Liam for a little while but then I saw my friend from school so I talked with her so Liam left to hang out with the boys who were flirting with some girls from school there. So after a couple of minutes I said goodbye to my friends to go find the boys and Liam but when I found Liam tears started form in my eyes and I managed to stutter out, "L-Liam?"
