Chapter 18

Liam's POV:

Our strategically organized pranking plan for the girls was set to go!! All we had to do was wait in the backyard until they came home so we could watch them get ultimately pranked big time inside the house. They might've took us by surprise in the beginning but we are determined to get them now! We heard someone pull up from the front of the house. It was Alex's car. Alex and Brooklyn came out from the car talking and laughing about something. We stayed quietly in the backyard waiting to hear them screaming and jumping around the house in shock by the pranks but all we heard was a ball bounce through the house and splashes and thuds all inside. "What was that?" Louis asked curiously. "I don't know." I said. "How come we didn't hear them yell or anything?" Zayn said confused. "Let's go inside and find out!" Harry said. "Wait. Didn't we-" I was interrupted by a sudden splash of sticky soda spill all over us from above. "Set a prank by the door." I finished off. "HARRY! You idiot!" Niall said angrily. "I forgot sorry!" Harry said defense vile raising his hands. We looked up to see the girls cracking up in the doorway. "We just got played... By girls?!" Zayn said defeatedly. "Yup!" Alex said happily. "Never underestimate a girls pranking skills.!" Alex finished off. Brooklyn explained how they watched us from Alex's house in the attic that was across the street as we set up the pranks. "Wait then how did you set off all of those other pranks?" Louis said. "Oh you mean this?" Brooklyn said pulling out a rubber ball. "We just threw it down the hall once we opened the door setting off most of the pranks. Then we walked in and saw you guys get soaked by the soda." She said raising her eyebrows smiling. "Your guys' faces were priceless.!" Alex said laughing hard. "Well, you guys really got us good!" I said surrendering. "And just for your skilled plan that was accomplished us boys would like to reward you guys." I said smirking. "Wait.... You don't mean-" Brooklyn said exchanging worried looks with Alexis. "Oh yes.....SUPER STICKY SODA HUG TIME!!!!" I yelled out. They immediately grabbed each other hands and ran out of the house as fast as their legs could carry them. We sprinted after them. Niall and I sped up our pace and swept up the girls from behind. "GOTCHA!" Niall shouted out. "NOOOO!!! ALEX!" Brooklyn yelled reaching out for Alex. "BROOKLYN!" Alex yelled back. Their hands slipped from each other's and the boys and I engulfed them in sweaty soda hugs. "I hate you guys so much right now!" They said pushing us off of them. "Don't deny it! You love us!!" Louis said walking with them. "Nope." They said in sync. He faked cried into Harry's shoulder and Harry patted his back. They had such a weird bromance. "Well we're gonna go take showers at Alex's house guys! We'll be back soon! Byee! Brooklyn called to us. "Wait!" I exclaimed running up to Brooklyn. "No goodbye kiss?" I asked with sad puppy dog eyes. She kissed me softly and said, "See you later?" I nodded and she gave me a hug and skipped off with Alex. They were such a cute pair of friends. I could see Niall wave bye to Alex and she waved back blushing. He was absolutely crazy about her and he only knew her for a day. I chuckled and took a shower once I got home. The cold water droplets hit my body with shock. It felt good to get rid of the sticky sensation all over. I quickly dried off once I was finished and changed into a purple t-shirt and a leather jacket with black skinny jeans and some purple high-tops. The boys had already changed and took showers waiting for me in the living room playing Mariokart on the Wii. I rolled my eyes at their comments like, "Beat my dust Yoshi!" Or "Take that Princess Peach!! Muahahaha!" I swear there's a mental problem with my friends sometimes. But you gotta love them. "Guys are you ready to go?" I ask. "Yea.... Haha I WIN suck it Harry!!" Louis yelled out. Harry rolled his eyes and we grabbed our jackets and crossed the street to Alex's house. She seemed to keep he house in shape. It had a neatly mowed lawn and beautiful roses planted in the from yard. We jogged up the steps of her house and rang the doorbell. Immediately Alex opened the door with a smile on her face and ushered in. "C'mon in! Brooklyn is just upstairs in my room getting changed so you guys can go ahead and make yourself comfy while I go make lunch!" She said walking off to the kitchen. "Wait can I help?!" Niall said jogging up to her. "Yeah sure!" She said blushing. They left us in the living room alone so we waited for Brooklyn because she always knew how to break awkward silences. She ran down the stairs and gave Zayn, Louis, and Harry all hugs. "Where's my hug?" I asked jetting my bottom lip out. She shook her head and jumped on me throwing her arms around my neck and wrapped her thin legs around my torso. She gave me a warm hug and I kissed her passionately on her strawberry tasting lips. "You taste like vanilla sugar!" She said smiling with her forehead pressed against mine. "Well you taste like strawberries." I said smirking. She giggled, kissed my cheek, and hopped off. "So where's Niall?" She asked perkily. "He's in the kitchen making lunch with Alex." Louis said winking cheekily at Alex's name. Me and Brooklyn laughed and walked inside the kitchen to find Alex and Niall making out. "QUICK! Shield your eyes!" Brooklyn said and put her hands on top of my eyes and Alex and Niall immediately broke apart when she shouted those words. I chuckled and said, "So you guys were... Making lunch *wink* eh?" I said cheekily after Brooklyn removed her hands. They both turned a bright shade of red. "Awww! You guys are going to be so cute together!!" Brooklyn said in a excited voice. "So what are you guys doing in here?" Niall said embarrassedly. "Oh well Liam and I were really hungry so we walked in here to see if you guys were done cooking but I guess you got distracted a little too much." Brooklyn said giggling. "Oh and I wanted to say hi to Nialler over here.!" She added quickly. "Well we are just about done with the food anyways so why don't you go tell the guys it's ready?" Alex said blushing a bright tint of pink. "Sure thing!" I said winking at the two of them. "I'm gonna except details later Alex!!" Brooklyn shouted out to her as she left the kitchen with me.

Brooklyn's POV:

I was so going to interrogate Alex with what happened in the kitchen tonight. "You really want to find out what happened in there to say that don't you?" Liam said smirking at me. Oh was I thinking out loud?! I'm such a dork! "Sorry I thought I was thinking in my head not speaking out loud." I said blushing. He smiled and opened the door to the living room where Louis, Zayn, and Harry looked bored out of their minds. "What took you so long?!" Harry shouted out. "We are really hungry! Is the food ready yet?" Zayn said like a 5 year-old. "Yeah that's why we came in here to tell you guys." I said explaining. "FOOD!!" They said in sync and ran out the door to the kitchen. Me and Liam shook our heads and followed the boys into the kitchen which was filled with a delicious aroma. "So watcha making?!!" I asked hungrily. "Grilled cheese and fries!!" She said excitedly. "YUMMY!!!" We all said in sync. Niall and I gobbled down our sandwich and fries in a matter of seconds and slumped back in our seats in delight of our full tummies. "That was really good Alex!" Liam said complimenting her cooking. We all nodded our heads in agreement. "Thanks guys!!" She said grinning. "So what do you guys want to do today?" Harry asked. "Um.... Do you guys want to go LASER TAGGING?!!!!" Niall shouted out immediately jumping around. "That sounds cool to me!" I say looking around to see everyone nodding their heads in agreement. This will be my first time so hopefully it'll go well.
