"I'm his godmother." My mother answered.
The doctor's eyes saddened and he flicked his eyes to all of us with a frown.
"Well, did he make it?" Ethan asked anxiously.
The doctor adjusted his collar, and swallowed.
Everyone stared at him, becoming impatient.
He has had to make it right?
Everyone stared at him, becoming choleric.
"We were able to save him, but he's on life support right now. Although we did have to give him a blood transfusion due to the fact he lost half of his own." The doctor answered ceremoniously. "We hope he awakes from the drug induced coma within the next couple of days."
I shut my eyes, and let out a sigh of relief. My whole body lifted, and I felt like I could breathe again. The parents let out tears of joy as they began hugging each other.
Emma and Jill wrapped their arms around me, and I placed my hand on top of their arms.
The doctor formed a small smile. "Only immediate family can see him until he gets moved to a regular room."
I frowned.
The doctor took notice of my face. "Mam, may I ask what happened to your nose?" His face became skeptical.
"I—uh---"
Aidan cut me off. "The person who assaulted Sean decided it would be a good idea to punch her twice in the face."
The doctor pursued his lips, and walked closer to me, and began examining my face. "It looks broken."
"OW!" I yelped when he started jabbing at it.
"Yes, it is most definitely broken." He declared and let out a gusty sigh. "I'm going to send one of my nurses out to take care of it, and to clean the blood off."
.....Blood....?
My head began to whirl.
The doctor shook the parent's hands and then left the waiting room, leaving me gripping the edge of an end table as my stomach rolled. I knew I had to get a grip, because the blood was dried.
"Sam, are you alright?" Liam's voice almost sounded amused. "You look like you are about to faint."
The room began to shimmer a little around the edges as I exhaled through my nose. "I'm fine." I managed to choke out.
"Does blood make you queasy?" Yep, definitely humor there.
I clamped my teeth together. "Only a little..."
"Then you really shouldn't look at your face." Aidan chided with a small smirk. "It's almost horrific."
My forehead creased, and I became curious. I kept wondering why everyone gave me funny looks when they walked past me.
I let go off the end table, and began walking towards the bathroom.
"BAD IDEA SAMANTHA...!" Chad called out after me. "You will faint-----Jill go in there in case she faints-----Sam!"
I puffed out my cheeks as I pushed the door open. When I walked towards the mirror – Jill came bursting in within a second.
My eyes widened, and they drifted to my nose. It was crooked. How am I even going to pull off a Wicked Witch of the west nose?
Now you really look like a piggy.
"It's really not that bad." Jill grimaced, and wrinkled her nose. "Honest."
