Erin....
Erin flipping skanky McCartney
That stupid two timing back stabbing....
"Sucks.... doesn't it?" A voice interrupted my mental name calling.
I blinked, and was taken off guard by the body who just took a seat next to me.
Speaking of dirty skanky girls....
She sighed heavily, "Seeing the one you love with another girl."
"Pardon me," I questioned, merely curious, "Since when are we buddies?"
"Since we both want the same guy, but both screwed it up," She answered simply.
Again, I blinked, and the only words I could concoct were: "Wuhhhh?"
"She's such a lying bitch," Kelly muttered, narrowing her eyes at her former best friend, "Erin is rather great at acting. She even had me fooled, and I've known her my entire life."
I cleared my throat roughly.
"Do you want me to move?" She asked.
"Nah, if you are going to bash her, then keep on talking," I simpered.
She chuckled, "Well first off she was acting like such a concerned friend, and acting upset when I got hurt. But all the while she was obsessing over him, writing his name in her spirals, and hitting on him every chance she got."
We remained silent for a brief moment.
"Bitch," we chorused.
Erin wrapped her arms around Sean, and I scowled.
"You have to steal him away Samantha," Her voice was muffled due to her grinding her teeth together, "Leave that bitch in the dust."
That took me off guard. "Wuhhh...?"
She stiffened her back, "I think it's only fair."
"Muhhh...." I just couldn't speak correct language at the moment to save my life, "Whaaa?"
"You have been in love with him since you were five, or born, or whatever," She shook her head, trying to clear it, "You had him first, and it's only fair you get the boy."
"I didn't know you were so...." I said, trying to find the correct term, "Err....understanding?"
Kelly let out a small laugh through her nose, "That's because we were arch enemies for the whole time we have known each other. I didn't' think you had any compassion either. We think the worst of the people we are envious of."
I pursued my lips, "Good point."
"Now that we are both left in the dust," She murmured, almost sounding agonized, "We can stop being jealous."
"Now we just aim it at Erin," I laughed humorlessly.
"Precisely," She concluded, and smiled.
We sat alone chatting at a distant table from everyone else for the rest of lunch. Occasionally Sean would look over, and form a baffled expression, but of course Erin distracted him by placing her salvia into his mouth.
The bell rang, and I stood there frozen, suddenly not being able to move as I witnessed Sean lifting Erin up into his arms.
My teeth began to chatter, and my jaw began throbbing as I attempted to hold back the tears pleading to escape. Kelly had the same expression.
We really were no different.
Just two girls in love with the same boy, but both screwed it up to the point it's beyond repairable. Now we were just two heartbroken teenagers, begging for someone to whisk us away, make us forget.
