Jill, Emma, and I sat on the salon stools as professionals did our hair. Emma's mother insisted on this, and even paid for it due to the fact she thinks we are incapable of doing our own hair. I wouldn't be surprised if she thought we couldn't do our faces either.

All this woman was doing to my head was curling it, and putting it half up in some weird fancy do. Something I could have done without any issues.

And seriously, going to the salon is the last place you want to be with Emma, her inner valley girl comes out to the surface, and she never shuts up.

"I mean seriously, like, LOOK AT YOU!" She droned on, "You are like, not fat anymore, and like you look good!"

"Thanks, like, Emma." I muttered sardonically, rolling my eyes.

"And like tonight will be like amazing, and blahdiddyblahblah."

I tuned her out after that much. Honestly, tonight meant as much to be as taking a crap does. I can't even imagine it turning out well. Knowing my luck - it will be a complete and utter disaster. Mainly for the reason that good things never seem comes my way, despite how much I hope and pray for it, good luck just tends to avoid me where ever I go.

Jill remained silent, nodding as Emma spoke, and I just stared at the wall as the girl tugged at my hair, and nearly burnt my ear with the curling iron.

"HE IS SO LIKE HOT!" Emma exclaimed, pointing at the flat screen hanging on the wall, "If only like sparkling vampires really existed then like we could each have one."

I have never seen the movie Twilight, although I have read the books before they came popular, and I always had a mental image of Edward in my head, and believe me, he was yummy in my mind.

I decided to flicker my eyes at the screen, and man Emma was dead on about that. He is gorgeous.

I let out a small chuckle, "Bend me over and call me Bella!"

Everyone laughed, and I was just staring at the hot guys that were in this movie. I mean NO wonder it's so popular. It has hot men galore! Especially the one who plays the doctor and I saw him all the time on Nurse Jackie. He is GORGEOUS!

"I think I'm over Taylor now." Jill chirped in, and I looked at her trying to hide a laugh.

Emma's eyes popped, "You and like Taylor broke up?"

"Yeah he broke up with me for another girl a couple weeks ago," Jill sighed, "It was random, but it's whatever. I don't care anymore."

"I am like totally sorry Jill bear!" Emma cooed, and I snorted softly so they couldn't hear, "He is a total jerk and not even cute anyways."

Jill grimaced, "I thought he was cute," she muttered.

I reached my arm out, and placed it on her tightened wrist on the arm rest as she forced a smile in my direction.

"At least you are going with Liam," I tried to lighten the mood; "He is very sweet."

That didn't seem to make her feel better so I decided to shut my mouth.

I slipped on my dress watching my mother tear up as she went to fix it. Her sniffles were loud and distinct as she didn't even struggle to pull down the dress as it had been a task before. That caused a smile to appear on my face. I was at my goal weight, and now all I had to do was maintain it.

Turns out I was right about Emma's mother not trusting us to put on make-up, and so we got that done professionally as well, which I didn't mind, considering I only have about less than a minute until Ethan gets here.
