Kaitlin with her ability discovered, she didn't know how it will help. "Kate, Over here!" Jupiter shouted. She was about to run when she decided to shadow travel. Arriving there quicker she finally said what was on her mind since the whole prophecy.
"I can't be the one that saves Mount Olympus? Right?" She said.
"Kaitlin, I hate to tell you this but-" he started but Kaitlin cut him off. "What I mean is, what about the other people, you know someone who in truth isn't a scared 14 year old." Kaitlin said which reduced her to tears. The others stared at her and Piper broke the silence "Kaitlin, that's not true."
"She's right." Jason added.
Waiting for the Olympian gods to return Jason found a way to past the time. "Kaitlin, you think it's true, well it isn't." Just as Kaitlin was about to say something the Olympians gods came back with some bad news. "When, the next rumble comes that's it." Athena said with a sad look on her face.
Then came the next rumble. "Kaitlin, can you get Jason and Piper out of here." Jupiter said. She nodded and told them to grab her hands and they disappeared.
The gods trying their best to stabilise mount Olympus but it was no use, everything they did caused it to fall again. "We need to get out of here!" Exclaimed Ares.
Running out of the mountain all the gods, demigods and anyone else who lived their escaped. "Kaitlin!" Neptune said. "Is everyone okay?"
"Piper and Jason are fine. But I feel responsible some how." She said.
"No, you're not." Jason chimed in.
Jupiter stood up in front of everyone as Zeus, his Greek form. He told everyone about the plan they have. Not knowing that everyone was staring at her. Kaitlin, finally broke the silence and said. "That's impossible. I'm not the glue. I'm a person." And she shadow traveled away.
After Kaitlin abandoned them, everyone started packing and decided to leave. "Wait!"
"Sorry, Jupiter." A lar said. Everyone was fleeing and he didn't know what to do. Neptune stood at his brother's side and watched the fall of their home.
"Why!" Piper whispered to Jason. "Why, what?" He asked, whispering. She whispered back. "Kaitlin, disappeared, and left us here by ourselves."
Jason knew she was right so he ran to the nearest door and cursed under his breath and looked for Kaitlin.
