The Fall of Mount Olympus

X- Poison Words

After the earthquake ended and the light became clearer, The black and white spots still danced in their eyes. Piper, trying so hard not to lose her mind laid in a hospital bed. Luckily she lost no blood and had only a few broken bones. Okay so Piper might have exaggerated that part.

Looking at the bed next to her Kaitlin laid lifeless on the bed. "Is she okay?" Piper asked but her voice was a bit harsh. One of the doctors came over and told Piper everything. "She lost a lot of blood, fractured a lot of bones and she has a concussion." Piper wanted to smack the doctor, take Kaitlin and run but she can't even move.

Then after the doctor left Kaitlin slowly opened her eyes. She tried turning her head but she couldn't as it was numb and her neck was in a brace.

Kaitlin's body was numb, it even hurt when she breathed. Piper didn't want to be here, the fact that she blamed Kaitlin wasn't fair. "Kaitlin, I'm sorry." Piper said in her sore voice.

From outside the hospital window she could see the fire building Mount Olympus down. She squirmed but she couldn't move. "Piper, you are free to leave." the nurse said. Piper ran out so fast, a trail of smoke followed behind her.

"What happened?!" Piper asked with a question in her voice. "Someone set our home on fire!" Jason said. Piper stepped back, tears falling down her brown eyes.

"What now?" Athena asked. "It was Vulcan's fault!" Mars yelled. "No! It was your fault!" Vulcan yelled. Soon all the gods were arguing with each other.

Jason pulled Piper away and had a private conversation with her. "Where's Kaitlin!" He asked. "In hospital still!" Piper said.

Zeus threw a lighting bolt towards Poseidon's head. "All the gods are out of control!" Piper shouted. Then a whistle blew. Kaitlin stood at the top of the hill. "Stop! We don't know who did this but everyone needs to stop!" She said.

"What the gods are saying are poisoned words!" Jason said. "Right, now stop or I will send everyone here to Tartarus!" Kaitlin yelled.

Just then silence fell amongst everyone. Hades stepped forward but Kaitlin cut him off. "Athena, any idea who will do this?" Kaitlin asked. Athena shook her head as if to replied no.

Kaitlin run down the hill her brown hair flying in the wind behind her. "Kaitlin! Where are you going?" Jason yelled after her.

She pointed into the distance. At first no one else could see what she saw then there mouths dropped open.

"Is that who I think it is?" Piper said. Her hazel coloured eyes were locked on the target. Her brown hair tired loosely back was now not blowing in the wind.

The wind stopped. The thing they saw turned around and started walking towards them on the hill. "Time to fight our enemy."
