After a while, Greg finished his IQ test and handed it to the surgeons.

"I hope I did good. Some of those were tough." Greg muttered.

"It won't matter in the long run. It's just to see your intelligence with 10% of your brain still intact." Dr. Browne explained.

Then, as if the timing had never been more perfect, Greg's parents walked into the room.

"Hello Greg. Hello Francis." Greg's mother said.

"GRANDMA! GRANDPA!" The two kids screamed, before drowning their grandparents in hugs.

"Hi Angel. Hi Morgan." Francis replied. Greg's parents waved back.

"H-hi..." Greg said, still shocked.

"Are you okay, Greg? You look like you've seen a ghost." Morgan asked.

"I-I'm fine, really." Greg reassured. Next, Greg's parents paid attention to their grandchildren.

"Hello Danielle! Hello Ben! How are you two?"

"Awesome! We saw Dad's brain! It's grey!" Danielle said, excitedly.

"And filled with liquid." Ben added. Angel's eyes went wide.

"L-Liquid? How?" Angel asked.

"Your son has hydrocephalus." Shaun said, bluntly, to get the conversation started.

"B-But...how?! I thought It was dealt with years ago!" Angel yelled.

"Wait...You KNEW?!" Greg exclaimed. Angel immediately realized what she said. Her hand flew up to her mouth and covered it. Morgan sighed and shook his head in disappointment.

"Angel? Morgan, what is going on here? And how long have you known?" Francis asked.

"Look...we minus well tell him. But I'd like the three of us to be alone." Morgan explained.

"Wait...Why can't Francis be here? She's my wife." Greg defended.

"Because I'd like the kids out during this conversation. And your wife is the only person that could remove them." Morgan replied.

"We know what happened, Grandpa. He's missing 90% of his brain." Ben mentioned.

"Ya, the children understand enough. It's not like an important person is dying with cancer or something." Greg said.

Morgan sighed. "Fine. But the surgeons need to leave." He decided.

"I understand." Shaun said, grabbing his clipboard.

"Wait-" Dr. Browne said, quickly. Shaun stopped for a moment.

"Can you give us a quick summary of the story afterwards, so we can use the details to help you?" Dr. Browne asked.

"Yes." Greg said.

After that, Dr. Browne and Shaun walked out of the room and closed the door for a moment. The kids decided to sit beside their Dad on the bed, while Francis continued to lean on the side of her husband's bed. Greg's parents sat onto two seats that were in the room.

"So...how long did you know for?" Greg asked.

"Since you were an infant. You were diagnosed after you were born, and we agreed to get a stent surgically placed into your brain. According to some tests, it seemed to have removed the fluid. Then, when you were 14, the stent was removed." Angel explained.

"Wait...I got my tonsils removed at that age. So, I had 2 surgeries that year?" Greg asked.

"You got your tonsils and the stent removed at the same time. We knew the stent would've needed to be removed at some point, but we decided to look into it the year you wanted to shave your head for Cops for Cancer." Angel explained. Greg's eyebrows lifted out of surprise.
