3. Blamed

He pulled up the hood and hid his head
To make it through the obstacles ahead
To seep through the meaningless laughter
To penetrate through the never ending end

He was not famous yet they watched him
He was not perfect yet they mimicked him
He was not bad yet they blamed him
He didn't ask yet they played him

He'd count the minutes on his fingertips
Seconds with his heartbeat,
Silently praying time to move past
But God didn't seem to be listening

Every word, every curse, every name
Every move, every gesture, every frame
They had sewn themselves on his body
Like the darkest of stain

How long would it stay?
How far would it go?
How insane would it get?
How high would it move?

In class, the boy entered,
with cracked spectacles
Whose mom was jezeble
Whose dad lived on alcohols

They would assume
That's all they'd do
No one knew
That he life was askew

How tired had he become of the circumstances
Throwing him high and and pulling him down
on canvases
He placed the sharpest of knife on his wrist
But couldn't muster up enough courage

His mom came and yelled at him
Her voice was trapped in his mind of prism
All reflection, no escape
Reminding him of her narcissism

He unzipped his bag,
Seeing the paper balls, he was gagged;
All full of hate, and the pain
He decided to raise his white flag

He knew he wasn't meant to be
Maybe for other world , but not this
If I'll leave, would someone miss me?
He knew the answer , so he swallowed the pills

How much hate is left in here?
Don't hate, if you don't care,
It won't end good, mind I tell you
Probably someone's crying,
because of you

Broken hearts, veiled minds
We all have gone through those lines
Then why not understand them instead?
And wipe of the tears from their cries

Me and you, we all are same
some trying for love, some for fame,
Let them live, let them breathe
Cause in the end, we'd die anyway.
