Chapter 10 - Meiko

Chapter 10 – Meiko

I could hear the silent sounds of light snores coming from behind me.

I slightly open my eyes to see my aqua blue hair messed up on the bed.

I slowly try to get up but I feel someone’s forceful hands grab my hips and suddenly im back on the bed.

“L-Len it’s time to wake up…” I say rubbing my eyes to make sure I was awake properly.

“J-just a little longer” I hear Len whisper in my hair. I recall what happened last night and I feel my face heat up.

“Was yesterday a dream, or was it real?” I say trying to stop blushing.

I feel him get up from the bed as he turns on his side to face me.

“Of course it was real, baka.” He says moving my hair away from my face.

I nod moving my face closer to the bed so he couldn’t see my face.

He gets off from the bed and puts his shirt back on and walks straight to the bathroom.

Was he angry with me?

I hear a sudden vibrating sound from the bench next to the bed. I peak over to see “Meiko <3” on the calling screen.

Why is Meiko calling so early in the morning...?

“No don’t be jealous” I slap myself hard on my cheek.

“What are you jealous about?” I hear Len’s voice as he was coming out of the bathroom.

His hair was wet because he just washed his face.

“Uhh nothing; im going to go check on the others now.” I quickly say getting up from the bed and heading towards the door but suddenly getting pulled in front of Len.

“wha-mmm” I am suddenly surprised as my Len crashed his lips onto mine.

He let go of my arm and looked at me. “I forgot to give you your morning kiss.” He says so seriously.

I think he did that because he knew I was jealous, not because it was a morning kiss.

“ne, Len-“ I stop talking. “Never mind...” I  say thinking it wasn’t the right time to say it.

I opened the door to smell golden pancakes, what a delightful smell.

I check the other rooms but no one was there, they must have all headed downstairs which I eventually ended up doing.

The smell came closer as I went near the kitchen. I could hear the sound of the t.v on and Ia sitting down on the couch reading a book.

“MIKUUU!” I hear Gumi yell, she was wearing a chef hat. I laughed and went over to her.

“uwah! Pancakes!” I say. Rei smiles as she flicks through the t.v channels.

Neru gets out the butter, jam, and cream. Gumi then places all the pancakes stacked upon plates.

Neru places loads of butter, jam, and cream onto the pancakes making them look messy.

“Itadakimasu!!” *not too sure of the spelling*Gumi says grabbing her fork.

“Don’t we have to wait for Len to come?” I say suddenly worried that he’s talking to Meiko on the phone.

“no no im right here.” I hear Len’s voice as he walks down the stairs, holding his phone.

Ia and Rei get off from the couch and sit at the dining table where the pancakes are being placed.

“Shall we eat?” I hear Rei say.
