Chapter 22: Galaco

22: Galaco

It was another day at school, except it was as fun. Luka and Rin weren’t here today and Len was busy doing other things with his friends.

I sat alone as the sensei was writing something on the board. It was almost Christmas; usually you spend it with the one you love…

“Miku!” I hear the sensei call out making me jump out of my seat. “Y-YES SENSEI!” Everyone stares at me as I awkwardly sit back down in my seat.

He clears out his throat. “You should really stop daydreaming Miku…” The whole class starts laughing as I suddenly feel a warmth rise up in my cheeks.

The day ended with me sitting alone and doing nothing, there was only one thing I had to do which was go to the school committee club.

I knock on the door quietly as Rei says ‘yes’ making me go inside. I take a seat next to Ia who was writing something down.

Gumi and Len were late since Ia was only here with Rei. “Those two!” I hear Rei say under her breath. I look up at her to hear a couple of knocks. We all look back to see 3 people enter, Len, Gumi and- WAIT! Why is she here, that girl from the party!

I shuffle in my chair as Len lightly laughs. “I TOLD YOU NOT TO BE LATE!” Rei says loudly.

“A-Ah my name’s Galaco! Please treat me well!” She bows down. Rei calms down and smiles. So her name was Galaco…

“Nice to meet you Galaco! My names Rei, that’s Ia and that’s Miku. And im guessing you know that twerp there already” She says smiling and pointing at Len. I quietly laugh. “H-Hey don’t call me a twerp!” Len says grinding his fists together.

“Hello everyone!” Galaco says smiling.

“Hello” Everyone greets her.

Galaco sits next to me, Gumi sits next to Rei, and Len sits next to Ia. Rei grabs papers from her desk and places it on the table. “Well as you can tell, a lot of students have wanted to change the school uniform bows and ties to something less bright. So what we will need to do is find a colour that still matches the school uniform but is less overpowering!!”

Rei says pointing at her uniform. We all nod in agreement. “Now we need to split into partners so that we can do each different task. One will be doing the design layouts, another will be doing the colours, and another will be doing final designs!” Rei says grabbing paper and pencils.

We all nod. “Well lets first choose our partners”

“C-Can I be your partner Len?” I hear Galaco say. I twitch my eye annoyed and look at Len who didn’t seem to pay attention to me. “Of course, I was going to choose you anyway!”

‘Going to choose you anyway’? what’s with that! Galaco is annoying me already. Gumi walks up to me. “Lets be partners Miku-chaaaaan!” She says hugging me tightly.

“Okay!! You can let go of me!” She lets go and looks at me smiling cheekily. “gomen gomen!” She says taking the seat next to me.

“Okay now that we all have partners, Lets choose which job! So who wants to do design layouts?” Len immideiantly puts his hand up as well as Galaco. “Okay so Galaco and Len is doing the design layouts.”

“Who’s going to be doing the colours?” I raise my hand. “Okay so then me and Ia will be doing final designs then.” We all nod. “Everyone happy with what they got?” Rei says making sure.

“Yes!” Everyone says. “Okay good, well everyone has different rooms to use across from this room, you are welcome to if you like.” Me and Gumi nod as we stand up and go to the other room across.

We both grab some paper and coloured pencils and start brainstorming ideas for the colour design.

 In the middle of it Gumi stops and thinks about something.

“Eh…Whats wrong Gumi?” I say looking at her. She looks at me. “I think that Galaco and Len are close…as if they were dating.” She says seriously making me feel sad.

“Oh” Is all that could come out of my mouth. I didn’t want to say it, but I feel as if Gumi is right…they are very close to each other…and it feels as if Len doesn’t even know I exist anymore.

“Hehe just kidding!” She says, although she was serious before.

Len and Galaco walk into the room holding up there designs. “Ne Ne doesn’t this look amazing! Galaco is a really good drawer!” He holds up the paper so both of us could see. I slightly nod and look away while Galaco blushes and looks away.

I feel mixed emotions pushing as I smile at Galaco. “Ah your names……..M-M-Muku right?” I hear Len and Gumi laughing in the background. “Actually its Miku.” I try and smile as kind as I could.

“O-of course how s-silly of me!” She says laughing too. 

Gumi smiles at Len. “Len-chan! Can I ask you a question?” She says in her usual cute voice. He nods smiling.

“If your dating Miku, Why are you with Galaco?”

So Im finally on Christmas break so ill probably update more yay :D
