Chapter 17 : The New student
*next day*
I woke up the next day to hear my alarm ringing. I slide my hand from under the blanket and tap on the alarm clock to stop.

I shift a little from my sleeping position and looks open my eyes. I didn't want to go to school today, I felt weak and tired...yet I managed to get out of my bed.

I walked to my bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth then changed into my school clothes. I didn't feel like eating breakfast.

I grab my bag and my phone and walk downstairs and look around before closing the door and walking to school.

I yawned as I passed all the other school kids who were with their friends chatting. I didn't live to far from school which was a good thing.

After 10 more minutes of walking I finally reached the school, they always had the doors open for any early arrives. I said good morning to the teachers as I passed them to get to my class.

I open the classroom door to see my teacher sitting in the desk writing something. "Good morning sensei" I bow my head down lightly and went over to my locker to put my bag away.

"Your early Miku" I hear him say in a surprised tone. I twitch my eye; I was never early to be honest.

"Also since you’re the first one here I would like you to show the new kid around during your break." He says fiddling with his fingers.

"A new student..?" I say curious. There were never really any new students that would come, especially to this classroom since it was class F. He looks up at me.

“Mhm…I think his name was…Gakupo?” Where have I heard that name before…I remember Luka told me about him saying that she liked him…was it like that?

I nod my head and walk over to the window and opened it since it was starting to get hot. I say Len with a crowd of girls around him. “Typical.” I say pouting. Nearly all the girls in this school liked him.

I sigh and looked back to the empty classroom, only to see sensei. I sat up on the window ledge and looked down at my feet. This is why I don’t like to be here early.

I felt a buzz in my pocket and let go of the window ledge and shoved my hand in my pocket. I suddenly felt myself lose balance and was about to fall outside the window. “MIKUUU!” I hear sensei yell.

I close my eyes and dropped my phone; I was really going to fall wasn’t i? I feel someone’s strong arms hold onto my body. I feel all my sacredness go away as I slowly start to breathe normally. I could hear chattering from under me.

I open my eyes and sensei’s face was right in front of me. I turned red. He took me of the ledge still holding onto me like I was going to fall. He’s worried eyes looked straight into mine. “Thank you!” I could have said it more than 100 times if I wanted to, since I could have died.

He finally lets go of my waist and is still looking down at me. “MIKU!” I hear Len’s voice yell from the corridor. He slides in and rushes over to me checking to see if I was okay.

Sensei backed away from me. “gheez! Stop doing stupid things all the time, I don’t want to see you get hurt.”  I wince back at his words. I always make Len worry don’t i?

He grabs my hand which was slightly shaking from the near death experience. Len slowly calm’s down, resting his head on my shoulder. “Don’t do that again, promise me?” He slightly whispers. He sounded like he was about to cry.

I lower my head down. “Im sorry Len. I promise I won’t do such a stupid thing again!” I tried reassuring him. I didn’t mean to make him worry like that…

I hear sensei cough a little. I took a quick glance at him who was still staring of somewhere but was still near us. Len pulled away and looked at sensei. “Thank you for saving Miku’s life.” He lightly bows his head.
