"Wake up! Get ready!" I heard my mom yell through the door. I groaned. Today's the day. I am moving to New York.
"Okay! Okay! I'm up!" I yelled back at my mom. I got out of bed and went to go take a shower when I was done I dried off brushed my teeth and hair. I did my makeup and got dressed. When I was done I went down stairs. I saw mom and dad sitting at the table eating breakfast. "Morning mum morning dad." I kissed both of their cheeks and sat down eating with them they both smiled up at me "Morning sweetie." They said at the same time and kiss my cheek. When I was done eating we went to the car and drove to the airport. When we got there I had a book, my phone, my headphones, and sweater with a neck pillow. Anyways I guess I can introduce myself. I am Zoey Winchester. I am 17 and lived all my life in San Diego. Now I am moving to New York with my mom and dad because my dad got a good job promotion. I don't know why he could take the one back home. I had to leave all my friends. Ava, Emma, Alana, my girlfriend Monica, my best friend Cadence, James, Logan, Mark, Liam, and Noah. But I have a twin named Bruce and a younger sister named Mari who is in the same grade as us since she skipped a grade. Now for a 5 hour airplane ride. When I got on I put my headphones in and started my music and fell asleep. ******** "Honey wake up. We are about to land." My mom said and shook my lightly. I stirred in my seat before I woke up. I looked out the window sad I had to leave all my friends.
"Mom can I move back with grandma and grandpa?" I asked my mom.
"No honey. I'm sorry but the answer is still no." My mom said to me. I look down sad that I had to leave my girlfriend Monica. I just nodded and put my headphones on and turned my music on (I have never been on a plain so I don't know if you can be on a phone or listen to music while landing) and read my book.
****** After like 1 hour we landed. Me and my mom and dad got our bags and called a taxi to go to our new house. Mari and Bruce got there like a day before us. When we got there it was pretty small on the outside. But when we stepped inside it was pretty large inside. My mom and dad told me to go and find my room so I did and plopped on my bed and FaceTime with my best friend Cadence. She picked up after the 3rd ring and started talking after about 2 hours of us talking I was getting tired and she had to go to sleep for school. I don't start school until next Thursday actually and it is currently Tuesday. So I decided to go to sleep then go shopping for new clothes tomorrow. So I went to sleep.
****The next day**** I woke up at like 8 and got out of bed and went to shower. When I was done I did the rest of my morning routine. I went and got the keys to the car from mom.
"Hey Mom. Can I have the keys to my car to go shopping today?" I asked my mom politely. She jumped and turned around because she didn't know I was there. I got dressed in a dark grey sweater with a light grey beanie with black jeans and white converse.
