Fire and ice
Mingle dangerously
Not once but twice
Close enough to touch
And spark an energy
Never before sought.Fate has plans for fire and ice
Even if they wish to embrace in frenzy
Merging together remains a fantasy.
For the burning fury and freezing tremors
Would end in chaos. An odd combination
Pitiful for their need
To love one another.
Reflections of heat and cold
Never to go too far
Without being put out.
