Chapter 1 - The Quest

You know what I found out, that being called for by dream freaking sucks. I mean seriously though, I was enjoying a nice dream about the strawberry fields and Will was there and he was- I mean whaaaat? I was enjoying a nice day out in the field, very nice if you know what I mean. I'm going to stop now, Stupid ADHD getting me off track.

I was 'summoned' by my father, Hades the god of the Underworld. Not death, that's Thanatos, but the Underworld, the souls and soul traffic and- again? Really? I did some sort of Walk float thing towards my dad and bowed before him.

"Hello," I said in a bored voice longing for my other dream.

"Hello Son, I'm afraid I have bad news," he said.

I stiffened. Another quest... I swear to the gods if I get another quest I'm going to shove it right back up his- Calm Nico, Calm. "Where am I going?"

He gave a look of admiration for knowing what was coming. He took a deep breath. "Nico, my son, you know how much I care about you and-"

"Come on Dad, spill."

"I'm sending you to highschool."

My calm demeanor crumbled. "Wait what? Hold the phone Senor, I, Nico di Angelo the son of Hades, Prince of Darkness has to attend a mortal school? Why?"

"Because Nico, you haven't been to school since your sister died, but you won't be learning too much. You are to teach the Defence Against the Dark Arts or as these magicians call it, D-A-D-A. Although it's spelled more like Da-Da like what are they doing? Calling for their parents?" he chuckled at his own joke. He coughed trying to cover it up.

"Why me?" I asked still confused on why I had to waste what little time and energy I had on these humans.

"Nico, child of mine. You have been through two wars and both of which you were the true hero, not those Anniebell and that Perseus kids. Anyway, you have stared death in the face and you have survived, besides, you are the dark arts."

I shrugged. "You're right, I'm awesome. But where will I live will I still be in Camp?"

He sighed. Well shit. "You will live in England. The school will arrange things, they like to name it Pigwarts- no pigfarts- no Hogwarts!" he guessed until he landed on the right option. "You get sorted by this magic hat thingy into things they call houses. I think they work like the cabins with the godly parents but differently. I mean Hecate told me they place it on your head and it looks into your memories or something and it does some magic stuff." he paused. "Well anyway, there's this special table teachers sit at that where you'll be. But you don't have to be there."

Good, I hate people anyway. I thought. "Anything else I must know?"

"Yes, the school is actually in Scotland not England stupid Hecate and not being explicit," he said looking up from a booklet. "There will be a packet of information on your bedside table. Read it or don't it doesn't matter if you do or don't. You'll figure out what's going on soon enough."

He waved and my dream sight went dark. I woke up with Will shaking me awake. I myself was hoping for some darkness in my room but William insisted on opening the curtains. "Hey Sunshine," I say to Will.

"Hey, Death Breath. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine thanks Sunshine." I then noticed he was straddling me and I blushed a pink crimson. He raised an eyebrow not believing what I said. "Fine, No, I'm not."

"Why not? Was it another Nightmare?" (Guys I wrote 'Was it another Napkin' before I realized what I wrote. I'm dead.) He asked concerned.

"My dads sending me to a school in Scotland." I clicked my tongue distastefully. "I have to live there too. Which means, I have to live over there, which also means I have to leave camp. But most of all you."
