Chapter 11: epilogue

The day after the wedding during the afternoon, we went off on our honeymoon to China and Japan. We would be gone for almost 4 weeks. We would spend two weeks in Tokyo and two weeks in Shanghai. Felt almost unbelievable that we sat on the plane on the way there.

I was so nervous, I took Niall’s hand and held it tightly, he whispered, "Now I'm on the road on a new journey to a new, exciting life and I do it together with the woman I love with all my heart." He whispered to me. I held his hand throughout the whole flight.

We would not just go there on vacation, but also visit an adoption agency, where we waited for our girl. We would be with her ​​down there for a while so she would get used to us, and then be ready to go her new home. Imagine how it is for her parents to know that it can not take care of their children and have to leave it away. Sad for the child, even if she is small and does not understand everything. But me and Niall were so happy that we finally would allowed to form us a family, be able to develop and educate a small individual to becoming an adult. Felt incredible everything went so fast.

The days and weeks in Tokyo passed slowly, but we had lot of fun lived the life before it was time to return to normal everyday life. We visited during the trip both Sensoji, Tokyo Tower, Meiji Shrine, and a lot of other places. We did not get to everything. But trying to see the most important and what we thought was fun to see.

two months later

Hello blog! Hope everyone is doing well. Now here 2 months after I figured it was time to take and squish everything that has happened to a large post so far everything is explained. I and Niall went on honeymoon to Tokyo and Shanghai, we were gone for about 4 weeks. The trip was wonderful. And now I sit here in the garden and try to think of what to write next. There's so much I want to say, but can not write everything. Return going to write about the trip. We went as the first point there to pick Niall's and our new family member. And yes there is no dog it was our child. our lovely girl Alaine whos meaning wonderful children on Irish and Ray of the Sun in French. And yes Alaine is great in many different ways. We were so happy. Me and Niall knew that life is not always going to be so easy. Our girl has Down syndrome. We were asked if we wanted to take care of her even if she would require much time. Niall and I said yes immediately. They could be hard times. But with the right conditions and assistance in life, we would do the best. So that our Alaine will be happy and able to develop into a good person based on her conditions. Almost crying as I write this. Alaine and Niall taking a walk now and is probably back soon.

Many asked us the question "why?" Yes why we chose Niall and I just her? When we could have got a normal child that I heard from some people. It made me angry What? "Normal" No one is normal everyone is different in their own way and have different abilities to cope with things. Me and Niall had made ​​a choice and we don’t  regret one second of our choice.

The walk went quickly because they are already back. Niall and Alaine sitting further down in the garden and playing with  Derby. Alaine and Derby goes so well together. It is so nice to see her sitting down and clapping her hands then clapping him gently on the back and laughs as Derby runs around and make funny things. This sounds like a cute story in a book, but this is real life for us now. And it’s not  wonderful to be able to have it in that way?

And forgot to tell you I was right Derby had become fatty so it became dance lessons for Niall. I was lucky. Wondering what had happened at the wedding dance. Otherwise haha ;) . Since we got home from the trip, we have not done much but trying to get everything to order. Met with a child psychologist to talk about Aaline. future, daycare and school for her even if she is only a little kid . Karin seems fine. Have not talked to her in a while we're going soon go down to them and visit. Harry and Karin seems to have had a little problem with the relationship (perhaps you've read on her blog but it seems fine again apparently because there are expecting their first child. (Got the acceptance of her before writing this so you know.)

All the others will probably be there to. So it will be fun. Good for Alaine to meet new people. She is a bit shy, psychologist says that it has nothing with her handicaps to do. More about the whole thing and that everything is pretty new and so on.

Now Alaine says something I don’t  quite understand, and pointing at Derby. Will probably take and end the post here. Time for social with my loves.

A/n note: Hello! this was the last chapter of this book. I know it ended pretty quickly and became a short novel. But I'm moving away to another city to study so wanted to finish everything before school starts and so on. Hope you thought it was still good. Already planning for the next book to write. -Karin :)
