Dear Emily,
Something has happened. I don't know what's going on, but Josh disappeared yesterday and mum a day before that. It's just me and Janet now. Janet is on edge all the time and I'm not doing so great either. We can't go outside because of the storm. It hits our house like it's trying to rip the roof off. But that's not the only thing.
I think someone is watching me. Not Janet. Me. All the time. I don't know if this letter will reach you, I hope it does, because I want you to call for help. We can't. It is cold, dark and I haven't left my room since Josh went missing. I haven't seen or heard from Janet and I have a feeling I'm alone. Alone in a cold, dark house in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by a vicious storm and I have the feeling someone is watching me.
