Ethan grabbed Antonio the bottle of bourbon, he was going to pour him only a glass, but knew he would be running up, and down the stairs every two seconds just to fill up his glass. He walked back over to Antonio, handing the bottle over "Now don't chug this all at once. You'll need to be sober when they come home you know."
"I'll be fine, I just need to calm my nerves. I guess I forgot what it was like to be that age." Antonio sighed, while looking at the time.
"Are you going to get drunk tonight, or can I go to bed? It's late, and I have to get up early." Sadie says, pulling the bottle out of Antonio's hand.
"I'll stay sober enough until the girls get home, after that, then I can't promise you anything." Antonio smiled.
"Well if you come to bed, and you're not slobbering drunk; I'll give you a milkshake." Sadie winked, as she walked past him "Goodnight everyone." she smiled, and walked up the stairs.
"Milkshake?" Ethan questioned.
Antonio's eyebrows moved up, and down fast, and with a big grin on his face "That's for me to know, and for you to not find out what she meant." he laughed.
"Never mind, I think I know. I may be slow sometimes, but I'm not stupid." Ethan chuckled.
The girls finally walked through the doorway, and Antonio let out a sigh of relief. The girls looked happy as Antonio walked over to them, asking how things went, and was happy to hear they had fun.
"After we left, Andrew and Chris had to laugh, they thought Ethan was weird, but funny." Isabella smiled.
"I had to tell them that was nothing, that Ethan was being pretty mild, but I was still embarrassed by him." Gabriella giggled.
"I am, who I am, I can't change that." he grinned, and looked over at Antonio "See, I told you they loved me, and knew I would make an ass out of myself. I knew there was nothing to worry about."
"Well I'm glad that you both had fun, but it's late, and you both should get to bed." he says, kissing the top of their heads.
The girls headed off to bed, and Antonio looked over at Ethan, and Ilona, placing his hand on his heart "Thank God everything went well."
"I think maybe you were overreacting just a little, but I guess it's hard when you have two daughters at that age going out, and exploring the pre adult life, and then having to worry about how boys will be with your daughters." Ilona said, hoping she wasn't overstepping anything.
"It's a dad thing I guess, and I have not one, or two... but three more to deal with."
"That just means you'll get better with each one." Ilona giggled.
"Well I'm going to bed, are you staying, or leaving?" Antonio asked Ethan. Ilona turned her head towards Ethan, curious to see what he would say, hoping he would stay.
"Nah, I'm heading home. After today I need some time to myself, and figure things out."
"We'll get it all figured out." Antonio smiled, giving him a thumbs up.
Ilona sighed, and leaned back against the couch. She didn't know what to think, or what to expect anymore, it seemed like something was in the way every time she wanted to spend some time with Ethan.
"So, what happened that your all bummed about?" Ilona asked quietly, looking down at her feet.
Ethan walked closer to her, with his hands behind his head "I'm sorry."
"For what?"
He then placed his hands on the sides of her hips, and looked at her with hurt in his eyes "Just because, my life is just one big disaster. Mr. Funny guy does have a heart, that can be easily ripped apart. I don't mean to look like a mess, but I am. I've got so much going on in my mind, and then to find out that I might have a child that has been hidden from me for the last four years, was the icing on the cake."
