32- Understanding

Sadie quickly looked over at Antonio in shock, and thought about what he just said "What do you mean siblings? How would you know about that, did you know about this the entire time?"

Antonio looked forward trying to keep his eyes focused on the road, he didn't mean for the siblings part to slip out. All he wanted was, for Sadie to open her heart, he knew she had one, a huge one at that, and wanted her to be happy for them "When Ethan brought me downstairs while you helped your mom with dinner, he opened up to me, warning me about your mom. He mentioned that she was pregnant, and said that he saw them on the screen. He never did say what he meant by that, because of you calling out letting us know dinner was ready. So, I assumed there was more than one."

"Just lovely..." She leaned her head against the window, and sighed.

"Dammit Sadie, will you just be happy for them? I ask that you find it in your heart to be happy for them, you're a good person, and so are they. They deserve to be happy, and if this is making them happy... so be it." Antonio snapped in frustration. He hoped once they got back to Ethan's, she will have a change of heart, and all he could do was cross his fingers, while holding onto the steering wheel, hoping her attituded changes.

Antonio pulled into Ethan's driveway, and before they got out, he took her hand pulling her close to him, and looked her in the eyes, giving her a desperate look "Please no hitting Ethan, and no yelling at anyone. Just let them talk, and you listen. If you want to speak, be sincere, all I ask is that you let them enjoy the news they shared with us. This is something Ethan has always wanted, not only children, but your mother, look how long he wanted, and tried to have her, only for you to stop him..."

"I just need to talk with Ethan... alone." Sadie hurriedly got out of the car, and sprinted up to the door. Antonio then quickly got out of the car, and rushed up to her. "Hey, slow down... I mean it, give them each a chance. I know you're upset, and being upset isn't going to fix anything."

"Just let me be... please." she quietly said, as Antonio sighed.

They stood at Ethan's door waiting to be let in, she was going to walk in, but the door was already locked. Sadie continued knocking until the door finally opened "You're back?" Ethan grinned "The way you were knocking, I thought it was the police here to bring me in." Seeing the look in her eyes, he was thinking oh shit here it comes and opened the door wider for them to come in "What brings you back, did you miss me that much?"

"Ethan... no need to try and be funny right now, I would like to have a word with you... privately..." she insisted, giving him a serious look, while resting her hands on her hips.

"OK." His eyes were wide, and looked over at Antonio. He was thinking she came back to beat the shit out of him, and knew he better bring her downstairs for her to do that.

Antonio nodded his head while looking at Ethan when he looked at him with a scared look "Go have a talk with her." he smiled.

Ethan nervously placed his hand on Sadie's back, and walked her over to the stairs "We can go down here and talk, I don't need any witnesses for when you kill me."

Antonio walked over to Grace, and gave her a hug "I'm pretty sure I talked some sense into her, I'm sure things will be fine..." Grace sighed, and wiped away tears that were strolling down her cheeks "I don't need her hating me, it's not like I planned for this to happen, I was always told I couldn't have any more children, and I believed them." she quietly said, resting her head against Antonio's chest.

"She won't hate you, she's just very surprised right now, on top of that, she's being her stubborn self." he assured her, hugging her tighter. "Come on, let's go sit, and talk, while they talk everything out."
