For the past few days Antonio showed them around Venice, showing them some of the historical buildings, where he grew up as a child, and where he was born. He wanted the kids to have some fun, and took them to the Ca'Macana Carnival, where the kids were able to make, and paint their own masquerade masks. After they were finished making their masks, they were able to enjoy the masquerade ball, and while there, they were able experience dinner at the opera.
It was getting late, and the babies were getting cranky, so they headed back to the hotel. "When we get back to the hotel, if you all would like to go out, I can stay, and watch the kids." Ilona said to Antonio.
"Wouldn't you like to go out?" Antonio asked, sounding surprised.
Ilona smiled, and looked over at the kids "I think you all could use a night away from the kids; besides I'd like to call Garrett, and see how he's doing."
"What would you like to do?" Antonio asked, as he looked over at Sadie.
"I'm game." Ethan blurted out.
Sadie giggled "Of course, you are." She looked over at Grace, and gave her a nudge "Are you up to it, mom?"
"Sure, I could use a night out, at least for a couple hours." Grace said. She then felt guilty about leaving all the kids with Ilona. She felt Ilona came along for a vacation of her own, and didn't think she needed to be watching the kids. "That's if you're completely alright with it, I know you could use a break too." she says, looking at Ilona.
Ilona smiled "Just go... you out of all of them, could use a night out."
Antonio looked over at Gabriella, and Isabella, snapping his fingers, and pointing at them, trying to get their attention "You two can help Ilona watch all the kids."
"I don't mind." Gabriella said.
Grace, and Sadie were a little nervous about leaving their little ones behind, while Antonio, and Ethan were becoming anxious to go out, and have a drink. Ethan walked over to Grace as she was standing over the kids' beds watching them, and rested his hands on her shoulders, and rubbing them. "They'll be fine." Ethan assured her.
Grace placed her hands on top of Ethan's, and stopped him from rubbing. "I feel bad, I haven't been away from them since they were in the hospital."
"It's just for a little while, and you need a break. Remember the talk we had not too long ago?" he asked quietly in her ear.
"Fine, let's go, but let's not be out too late."
Antonio, and Ethan led the way, to one of the bars they checked out when they first arrived, while Sadie, and Grace walked behind them, talking, and giggling.
"Alright!" Ethan said excitedly, as they walked into the bar, and saw they had Karaoke going on. He walked over to the guy running it, and asked for a song book. As he flipped through the pages, he grinned when he saw a song he knew he could sing, and wrote it down, handing the paper to the guy.
He then headed over to the bar, where Grace, Sadie, and Antonio were sitting, and sat next to Grace. "What were you doing?" Grace asked.
"I put my name in, to sing a song. One I know you'll like."
Grace leaned back in her chair, looking at him with widened eyes, and crossed her arms. "I've heard you sing; you're going to scare everyone away." she laughed.
"Good... then we can have the bar all to ourselves." he chuckled.
"What song are you singing?"
Ethan laughed, picked up his drink, and took a sip "You'll see."
