Ethan placed his fork in his food and scooped it up into his mouth, taking a bite, and trying to ignore what Sadie asked "Tastes good." he said with a mouth full of food.
"Ethan... how did it go with my mom; did you get her car started?"
"No, I ended up having her car towed to Jake's." He looked out the corner of his eye, and saw Sadie looking at him with her arms crossed. "The car wouldn't start, it wouldn't do anything, I tried jumping it, and nothing worked."
"That sucks, I'm sure tomorrow she'll need a ride to work."
"No, she said she has the day off. I told her that I would call the mechanic in the morning, and find out what was going on with it, I'm also going to tell him to go easy on her."
Sadie noticed that he was acting strange, and gave him a strange look "Is everything alright?"
"Yea, why?" he asked, feeling as if his heart just stopped.
"You seem nervous."
"Your mom is worried about her car, and how much it's going to cost, she says she has no money, and refuses to ask you for any help." He started relaxing a little, and felt he had to say something, to try and avoid the other reason why he was acting different. "She would be pissed if she found out I told you."
Later that night, Sadie was lying in bed, and kept thinking about how her mom was worried about paying for her car, and sighed heavily as she looked at Antonio.
"What's going on in that mind of yours? I hear the sighs, and can feel that your tense about something." Antonio says in a low husky voice.
"My mom, Ethan said she's worried about money to fix her car. Would you be mad if I went ahead and paid for the bill?"
He rolled onto his side, and propped his head up with his with his elbow, cupping his chin. "Why would I be mad? It's your mother, and she needs a car."
"I don't know, I was worried you would think that she would be taking advantage of us helping her out."
"I did hear Ethan mention that she refused to ask you. That tells you right there, she doesn't want our help."
"That's true, if I go and pay for it, she probably would be pissed, but if she doesn't have the money, where else is she going to get it?"
Antonio wrapped his arm around her waist, and scooted his body next to hers. "I wouldn't worry about it, I think you should get some sleep, and we'll worry about it tomorrow."

Ethan called Jake's mechanic shop, and asked about Grace's vehicle. He was told that she had a couple issues, and was surprised they both took a shit on her at the same time. He informed Ethan that someone at one time, put in a junkyard alternator, and that it was no good. He also promised Ethan, he would to take it easy on her, especially for it being, Sadie's mother.
Ethan called Sadie, and told her the news about her mom's car. Sadie then gathered the kids, and drove over to the shop to pay for her mom's car. While she was there, she knew her oil change was overdue, and had them change her oil.
Afterwards, Sadie hurried back home since she had some interviews for the nanny position. She liked that the kids didn't have school that day, and wanted to see the way they interacted with the nanny potentials that she would be interviewing.
The first gal she interviewed; Sadie kept it short. She didn't like her from the moment she walked into her home, and reminded her of Cruella De Vil. She had a scowl look on her face, and looked disgusted when she saw the kids running around, playing tag inside the house.
